Story
Hi.  I'm Zodiac or Larry (AKA Amazing Larry, Larry Bird, Scary Larry.).  I had a complicated start, and had to have all my hair shaved off because I was really matted.  I have learned recently about yards, harnesses and going on walks.  Which I only reluctantly do to follow my foster mom though I'm not sure about the whole thing.   Sometimes my foster mom slips and calls me Tiny Tim.  Which I guess checks out as many cats are bigger than I am.  The good news for you is based on my size, I am like a forever puppy.  The bad news, I can be a bit skittish.  I prefer if you move slow and talk softly.  Please don't loom over and try to pick me up.  I'll follow you, please don't chase me.  If I am sleeping next to you on the couch, and you shift position, I may growl a bit.   Apologies in advance.  Every day I get better at reading the room, but some old habits die hard.  Let's be honest - kids (especially small ones) are probably not a good match for me.  I have good crate manners, but would much prefer to be with you than in my crate.  My foster mom keeps the crate right next to her bed overnight and next to her desk during the day when she's working.  I do okay when I am close and can keep an eye on her.  When left alone, I am not destructive but I bark pretty much the entire time.  Hopefully, once I am really, really sure you are coming back I won't have to be so vocal but I'm probably not a good fit for apartment living at the moment unless you don't care much for your neighbors.  Someone who works from home would be ideal for me.   I have been bunking with two other small dogs, and have followed them out to the yard, even starting to use the dog door myself.  Until I got rained on anyway.  Now I'm less excited about the great outdoors but my foster mom does give me treats when I go potty outside (and I really love all food!) so I am still making progress.  I do use potty pads when left home alone, and to prevent accidents my foster mom is pretty strict about taking me outside whenever I start to stray from her side too long.  As she knows my entire life goal currently is to be as close to her as possible.   I have no issues with my bunkmates, and have displayed no resource guarding behavior other than trying to block them from being closer to my foster mom than I am.  I play with them a little, but would be totally fine being the one and only as well.   If you have a patient, laid back household and are looking for a little couch potato who is still learning about home life - I'm your guy! ##2130294##
