Story
Meet Archie Bear – your future best friend and the smartest, most energetic companion you'll ever have! Archie is eager to learn and picks up on training in no time, making him a joy to teach new tricks or refine old ones. With boundless energy, he’s always on the move and ready for action—until it’s time for bed, of course! This playful pup has a serious love for toys, especially ones that he can turn into fluff. Got a chew toy that needs a challenge? Archie will take care of that in less than 30 minutes! He’s also an affectionate little shadow, always by your side and thriving on human companionship. Archie Bear would thrive in a calm, loving home where someone is around often to keep him company. While he’s not a fan of young children due to his anxiety, he does better with older kids and 12 and older. He’s a true outdoor enthusiast who loves walks and does beautifully on a leash. Plus, he’s kennel trained and mostly potty trained, though he has accidents when overly excited or anxious! If you're ready to offer Archie Bear a peaceful, yet active home where he can shine, apply today! He’s ready to meet his perfect match. Adoption fee: $350 + tax. Apply at www.CampCompanion.org.

Story
Bonded pair. Fence required. Cora and her son Scooby are a resilient, semi-feral duo with a bond that’s unbreakable. Rescued from a shelter in Wisconsin just before it closed, they’ve had very little human interaction over the years, making their journey to trust a slow and delicate process. Living now in a foster home, they are learning to navigate their newfound world with cautious curiosity. While they do live with other dogs and cats, Cora can be a little bossy at first when meeting new dogs. She takes her time assessing new situations, especially when it comes to the other animals in the house, but once she feels comfortable, she settles into the routine. Scooby is usually more laid-back, following Cora’s lead but always in his own quiet way. Cora is a protective and nurturing mom, always looking out for Scooby. The pair are a little skittish, but they’ve made strides—occasionally hopping into bed or joining us on the couch, though always staying just out of reach. They show their affection in their own quiet way, happy to see us when we come home, and they eagerly accept treats from our hand, a sign of the trust they’re building. Cora and Scooby are a work in progress, taking their time to adjust and embrace the love and comfort of a home. Though they may not yet be ready for full human interaction, their journey of trust and growth is a beautiful thing to witness. With patience and understanding, they continue to evolve, each day a little more open to the world around them. Apply to adopt at www.campcompanion.org Adoption fee for both dogs together as a bonded pair is $350 plus tax.
