Story
Yeager is a SWEET, gentle 10 year old boy who loves attention. If he’s loving the attention he’s getting, he’ll nudge you for more. He is potty trained and crate trained, and been around other cats and dogs. He loves being active, around 30-45 minutes a day. Age: 10 Breed: German Wirehair Pointer Weight: ~ 65 lbs Kid-friendly: Not been exposed to kids Dogs: Yes, very friendly with other dogs Cats: Yes, does not show aggression Crate trained: Yes Potty trained: Yes Health concerns: Lymes disease but levels are low, hypothyroidism (new, just started meds), heart murmur Current medications & estimated costs: Thyro-tabs started 5/15 Adoption fee: $375 As a rescue, we provide the care, procedures and testing that is available to us. Adopters will be responsible for continued preventatives, follow-up appointments, and medications (if applicable). At times, adopters will be responsible for procedures not completed in rescue (dentals, bloodwork, etc.) Your new dog will receive their rabies and distemper vaccine. $50 discount for seniors (65+) and veterans. Adoption fees help pay for the dog's veterinary exam, vaccinations (rabies and distemper) HW test and spay/neuter if needed and additional health needs specific to each animal. Grey Face Rescue does not adopt outside of Minnesota for now. We apologize for the inconvenience. We do not adopt animals to families whose current pets are not up-to-date on vaccinations or not altered. Exceptions may be made for medical reasons as stated by a veterinarian and we will require proof of that recommendation. Thank you for understanding our mission to reduce overpopulation.
