Meet Athena (that's me!), your next FBF (furry best friend)! I'm here searching for a family, a home...one I can say will be ALL mine! And since you're reading this, could that possibly mean my family could be with YOU?!! I'm around 4years old which puts me at a fabulous age...out of the puppy destructive stage that just loves the simple things in life like a cozy soft bed to lay my head or tasty treats to savor. I have one of the most sweetest gentlest souls you'll ever have the pleasure to meet and long to enjoy in some of that family dynamics!! I am sooooo super affectionate and have the most sweetest loving nature. I love everybody. No strangers out there for me! I'm just a fantastic family addition for any family even a first time pet parent, all you have to do is look into these striking blue eyes to see all the love! I come in at about 60lbs which is that pawsomely perfect size for, well yes, everything. I walk beautifully on a leash for neighborhood strolls, love hiking nature trails, would make a great camping trip companion, enjoy co-piloting errand runs (I call shotgun!) or supervising yard work, you name it I'm the gal for the task at hand!!! I will make a great companion, that heartbeat at your feet, for a family that is looking for a sweet ole girl that will gladly be your FBF, your 'lil' sidekick in all your life's adventures from mundane daily to weekend exciting!!! Look no further than Violet (hey, hey, that's me!) and I'm here looking to adopt me a family, a home...one I can say will be all mine! And since you're reading this, I'm hoping that you'll consider making ME a part of yours!!!! Me and my siblings were dumped in a rural area along side a busy highway. Scared to death we took refuge in an abandoned house to try to brave the elements. Some neighbors noticed us and came to give us food and water and they called this wonderful rescue. The first few months of my young life was not so great, but I'm learning. I'm learning that not all people are bad and that pets and kind words are kinda really nice. I is ready to start this next chapter in life with a family that will have lots of patience, treats and gentle pets so I can give back lots of puppy kisses and tail wags!! I have got a really sweet nature that does love to run around and play with my siblings, so to set me up for success I will need a quiet home without smaller children but that has a playful '4 legged sibling' for me to follow around and take my ques from them. Mom may be a Golden Retriever mix and dad was a traveling salespup sweet talking his way through town! I will probably be around 50 - 60 lb area when I get myself fully growed up. I want to be sooooo ready be that lil heartbeat at your feet, and with a little time and a lot of love, I know I'll be there.
