Story
Hello, my name is Wrangler! I am a 7 year old Husky mix that weighs approx. 46 lbs. I was surrendered to RAC due to my family no longer being able to care for me. I am a very sweet and very intelligent guy that would love to find a FURever home to call my own! I love a good walk or hike. If you're the adventurous type, then I am your guy. I know several basic commands like sit, shake, and down. I did previously share a home with another dog, however a meet and greet is always recommended if you have another dog in the home. If you are interested in making me part of your family, please submit and adoption application located here: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/. My adoption fee is $125. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, and basic boosters. I did test positive for heartworms but thanks to Rockwall PAWS, I will be able to receive treatment at little to no cost to my adopter. Feel free to ask RAC staff if you have any questions over heartworms or my treatment.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. August 19, 2024, 8:01 pm

Meet Nova Elizabeth! Nova is an approx 4 year spayed Husky female, HW negative, UTD on all vaccinations, flea and tick preventives and HW preventive. She will come with several months of both. Nova is a small, fine boned and very girly husky girl. Nova’s personality is loving and gentle. She offers cuddles and loves to sit or lay with you. She loves ear, chest and belly rubs. She will give kisses if allowed. Nova is not a barker or a howler. We have never heard her bark. The only sounds Nova makes is like a soft, quiet girly version of Chewbacca from Star Wars, recording available. Nova walks great on a leash. Gentle and not a puller. Raised with 4 little boys, 2 cats and 1 dog so great family pupper. Loves her toys and chews. Comes with EVERYTHING. Loves car rides, going to dog parks, walks, walking through stores that allow pets etc. She is a great canine family member needs gentle, loving humans! Has only ever known love!
