Story
Marty McFly is a gentle, loving boy who came to us from a reservation in New Mexico. In foster care, he blossomed into a playful, happy pup, especially when he has other dog friends around. Marty McFly is a little timid and fearful in new situations or with unfamiliar people, so he'll need a patient adopter who can give him the time and space to explore at his own pace. Having a confident dog buddy by his side will help Marty McFly feel more secure. With a little extra patience, you'll be rewarded with all the love Marty McFly has to give. Marty McFly is great with other dogs and cats. He loves playing with toys and another dog buddy! Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard. If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home. HOW TO APPLY: From Petfinder.com The fastest way to get to the adoptable dog page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-dogs/ When you are on the UAF website Select "Adoptable Dogs" and pick the dog you are interested in. To apply to adopt, go into the dog's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started. You could be a life saver! Help us save more lives by fostering a dog or cat. Story
I'm looking for my best bud for life! Is that you? My name is Luana. I’m a lovely lady, and I have expressive ears that can't hide what I'm thinking! I came to High Country Humane because I was found wandering on my own. Regardless of where I came from, I’m just focused on finding my furever home. Is it with you? I'm still learning to be comfortable with people, but I love other dogs. I'm looking for a home with another dog who can help me learn to trust people. My caretakers don't think I've been around people very much, so I'm looking for a kind soul who can be patient with me while I learn to trust. I am potty trained and would be a great addition to any home looking to make a big impact on a sweet dog. Do I sound like your new best friend? I hope so! Call my foster at (928) 399-0608 to meet me! Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is fixed, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped. We register that microchip (FREE!) and provide a free health exam with each adoption. Please bring a leash and collar for your new pet or plan to purchase a set at the shelter for $5 each. The shelter is open 11-5 PM, 7 days a week. We look forward to seeing you!
