Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.INDI is available! 24-055 Indi is a 4-year-old spayed female Golden Doodle.  She is described as having good energy, a sweet disposition and loves to be with her humans.  Indi has had some basic obedience training but does not like other dogs. She must be adopted to an only dog home at this point. AGR wants Indi to succeed and be the best companion she can be. Once she is adopted, we will pay for a two or three week training program at Partners Dog Training School, or other acceptable facility, to work with Indi's issues with other dogs. Indi's new family must be willing to attend the prepaid follow-up classes. There will be no cost to the adopter for this extra training. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. BLUE is available! 24-031 Blue is a 4-year-old neutered male Golden Retriever.   He was surrendered with his 4-year-old brother 24-032 Bailey, but we have determined their behavior together is detrimental to their success. They are mildly positive for valley fever and are on medication, even though they are not showing any symptoms. Blue is described as a typical affectionate Golden, he loves attention and is very food oriented.  He does jump so could knock over little kids or the elderly.  He needs training and must go to a home with NO OTHER DOG NOR CAT, as he is reactive to those. AGR wants Blue to succeed and be the best companion he can be. Once he is adopted, AGR will pay for a two or three week training program at Partners Dog Training School, or other acceptable facility, to work with Blue's issues with other dogs. Blue's new family must be willing and committed to attend the prepaid follow-up classes. There will be no cost for this extra training. If you are interested in adopting this dog or any other available AGR dogs, and want to know more about the process, please click here.  Note:   WE DO NOT ADOPT OUTSIDE OF THE STATE OF ARIZONA. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. RIVER is available! 24-059 River  is a frightened young (estimated 2-years-old) stray that was taken under the wing of a Good Samaritan who could not keep her. The finder contacted us and we have been working with River to build her confidence. She was terrified of people when we first got her, but has made great strides in learning to trust. River needs someone who is loving and patient to help her continue to grow and thrive. We think she would do great with another well-adjusted dog to show her the way. Young children are not advised. A fence is mandatory. She is currently on an anti-anxiety medicine to help her adjust and it is working well. River is looking for a quiet, well-balanced home to call her own. If you are interested in adopting this dog or any other available AGR dogs, and want to know more about the process, please click here.  Note:  WE DO NOT ADOPT OUTSIDE OF THE STATE OF ARIZONA.
