Chee Yoo is a beautiful, 5 yo medium/large female dog that came to Jelly's Place from South Korea in July 2021. Why has such a wonderful dog not been adopted yet? Read further to find out. Chee Yoo is very timid and nervous around people. She LOVES other dogs, and has become best friends with another Jelly's dog named Pepe. Pepe has a very similar personality to Chee Yoo and the two of them are like 2 peas in a pod. Chee Yoo can guard her food which is not surprising given where she came from. So, care needs to be taken with another dog when food, especially high value foods, are around. During her time at Jelly's Place, Chee Yoo has gone from hiding in the corner to taking daily walks on a leash. She is becoming more comfortable and confident, but still has a long way to go. She has learned to trust her primary caregiver, but is still not comfortable interacting with other people. Chee Yoo would do best in a calm, quiet home with dog experience and older or no children. Chee Yoo is NOT a dog for first time adopters. She needs adopters who are willing to be patient and to give her the time and space she needs to feel comfortable, confident and loved. Another dog in the home is essential. and we prefer to keep Chee Yoo with her buddy Pepe. If you are interested in adopting Chee Yoo, we recommend that you come and spend time with her on several occasions so that she becomes comfortable with you. Garland is a fun loving pup who will thrive in an active home. Puppies require someone home every 2 to 3 hours for socialization and consistent training. A puppy is a 13+ year commitment. Please think long and hard before adding a puppy to your family.

Hailing from Southern CA, Gemma will charm you with her honey-eyed gaze, beautiful golden locks and affinity for cuddling. Contrary to her senior age, Gemma exhibits boundless energy and playfulness. her exuberance would be too much energy for a young child or teen . A person looking for a lifelong companion to learn with who has the time to focus on Gemma without other dog distractions in the home would be Gemma’s idea of heaven.

We have a transport where we will be personally taking our dogs home leaving on 1/31/25 to NorCal and OR. Surrounding states will be added to our route if needed ☺️ We would love to add Ruby to our trip for the right home 💕 Meet our beautiful Ruby ❤️ She is a 7 month old. purebred, red golden retriever. She currently weighs 35 lbs. No, she is not full grown yet. She is estimated to be around 45/50 lbs full grown. Yes, she will be your smaller golden as she matures into adulthood. She is set to be thourely examined by our vet on 1/28/25 where she will recieve her one year vaccines, be microchipped, and will be given a health certificate stating everything went perfect, and that she is in great health. We already sent in a fecal test to the lab to check for worms, and once the results are back in she will be treated accordingly to what's seen, if anything. All of her medical records willl go home with her new adopting family. She is too young to spay, as it's recommended for her to reach full maturity so that her growth plates can fully close prior to sterilization so she will be going home on a spay contract. She is crate trained, and currently sleeps in her crate at night which she does beautifully with without a sound til morning. She does patiently wait for you to wake up, but is an early riser herself so if you tend to sleep in a bit to long she will let you know that she needs to potty. She is very good at communicating with you when she needs something, so I would recommend to beat her to the punch and set your alarm so you can meet her needs first 🙃 She is doing very good at house training, and as long as you have a good schedule of letting her outside throughout the day then she will not have any accidents in your home. She is alert and communicative in the crate, but during the day we are very diligent in letting her out every few hours, so she rarely has to tell us she needs to go out as we are just on top of it! Leash training is new, but she is doing much better at it the more we work on it. She is young and will learn in time the joy the leash brings when she gets to partake on the many ventures every goldens heart desires to partake in. Continued training will need to be happen in her next home, but I assure you that she will not make it hard whatsoever to pick up where we leave off ❤️ She is wonderful with all dogs, and cats alike. She is a sweet girl, with a kind spirit, and a gentle soul. She is a friend to every single animal she has ever met while with us here, and as long as the animals in her next home welcome her with love, she will be their friend too 😊 She has really great house manners, and listens very well. She is a bit mischievous at heart, and will try and grab things she shouldn't have (and she knows she shouldn't have 😂, ) but once we lock eyes she already knows she has been caught and will surrender whatever she has freely 🙃 She overall, is absolutely a joy and has brought a lot of laughter to our home and has definitely taught us to give full attention at times 😅 but all in all we love her and all of her antics, as we know you will too! She rides wonderful in the car, and will make an amazing road trip partner to anyone looking to travel with their dog in tow! She is very good at bath time, and loves to lay in the tub soaking, so we make sure to top her off with warm water to keep the experience enjoyable 😂 she is very spoiled, but we wouldn't have it any other way 🙃 Her prior home didn't quite know how to raise a young golden, and instead of working with her they proceeded to leave her outdoors with their bigger dogs who sadly weren't very nice to her. They started bullying her to the extent she couldn't eat unless her owner was present. They didn't know what to do as their other dogs were older, and had been with them their whole life while Ruby was new to their family and ultimately felt that maybe they shouldn't have brought a new dog into their pack as it didn't go as they had hoped, and without them wanting to really put any effort into training her to be inside away from their big dogs they decided the best thing to do was to surrender her to us here to find her a better home. (Which we are extremely thankful for!) Ruby is very shy when she meets anyone she doesn't know. She is learning that everyone around her is here to help her, and love her the way she deserved to be from day one. She gets so excited and will run and leap around you when you are showing her attention (you can just see and feel the joy radiating from her in those moments,) which tell us every thing is going to be okay! We are looking for an adopter/adopters that will come in and take over loving her as unconditionally as we have, who has understanding she will still need some time to settle in and feel secure in her next home, and that will commit to her growth for the rest of her life simply because she deserves nothing less! Honey is approximately 7 to 8 years old. She is on the smaller side of an average golden retriever, weighing about 35 pounds. She LOVES food and is very food motivated. She is very calm, loves to follow you around and she enjoys taking walks outside. She does well with other dogs. She was rescued from a meat truck in China, her vocal chords may have been removed sadly. She recently had a surgery to remove a lump on her front left leg and it came back as low grade sarcoma. She's not fully recovered yet, but doing well. She's ready to find her forever home! Please reach out if interested.

Meet Erduo, a 3-and-a-half-year-old purebred golden retriever boy with an incredibly sweet temperament. He is well-mannered, never barks, bites, or shows any signs of aggression. Erduo is fully potty trained and currently spends most of his day in our backyard, where he takes care of his needs. As a golden retriever, he is naturally energetic and thrives on interaction, especially with dogs of his size. While he is affectionate and loves meeting new people, he tends to get overly excited around unfamiliar faces and enjoys jumping up to hug them. While most people find this endearing, it’s something to be mindful of, especially in public settings, as not everyone is comfortable with such enthusiasm (we had one unfortunate experience where someone felt frightened). Erduo would be an ideal companion for someone who can match his energy and provide him with the love and attention he deserves. We are seeking a experienced home where he will continue to thrive and be cherished.
