Story
Welcome to Hank from CCPAL foster program. He is a 3.5 to 4 year old Golden Retreiver/Shepherd dog. He is very smart and affectionate. He has upright ears. He does not jump up, good on a leash, good in a car, knows sit command, potty trained and good with other dogs and kids. He would be a great pet for a family. He lives in a house with other dogs and does great. He also lives with cats. He is currently in foster care until we find his forever home. He weighs about 36 pounds and is a medium sized dog. He could easily go in a home with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is super friendly to all people including strangers. He could be adopted locally in Texas, which is where he is right now or we could work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See his cute video!! https://youtu.be/ACKjmvNOwWA

PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.1/18/25 Loki Babiessss! These little ones were born to a sweet little stray mama that was taken in by a good Samaritan. They are keeping mom. When the babies were only 2 weeks old, mom got a severe case of mastitis and could no longer nurse. The finder, being fully committed to the health and well being of the babies as well as mom, took all 8 pups to work with her every single day so they wouldn't miss any of their meals. She bottle fed all of them until they were old enough to eat on their own. They are now in a foster home. They are happy, healthy babies! Mom looks like a golden retriever mix (she is pictured last), and of course we have no idea what dad is. Mom on the smaller side, about 30 lbs. We estimate these babies will be in the 35-50lb range. They are all super adorable! We will make a seperate post for each of them. This baby is Loki, he is a male with a beautiful golden blonde coat. He is one of the larger puppies in this litter. Their date of birth is 10/25/24. They will be spayed/neutered at the end of this month and can go to their homes early Feb. Please help us find these babies loving, forever homes. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations.
