Story
My name is Milo Magoo and I am a 3 year old Golden Doodle with a birthday that is coming in the next few days… to turn 3 yrs. old.  I weigh 80 pounds and I am looking for an attentive and dog training family that will really shape and polish me to be the spectacular dog that I have the potential to be.  My current family really has no time to work with me to shape me in to a dog with great manners and emotional control.   I am bored in this home and I need physical and mental stimulation and fun challenges to do.  I am very happy, sweet, and very active with running and playing.  I am a male that is ALL BOY and if I had my wish I would say to adopt me if you have a girl dog in the family.   I would love to have a girlfriend for life!  When I am bored my favorite, yet dangerous, thing to do is eat socks.  So please watch that if you take me home.  It is totally out of boredom.   Critter Cavalry Rescue is tryng to change all this by placing me in the right home that they will review closely.   I am a silver tawny coloring and people just ohhhhh and ahhhhh over the color of my coat of  hair.  If you would like to adopt me please email right away at ccrnewengland@gmail.com Mention in the email where you live!!!   That helps so much too.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.November 5, 2024, 1:27 pm

Story
Available for adoption! Good morning, Hal, here. I want to share with you my experience which has prepared me for a loving family and I hope if you are reading this you will feel compelled to consider adopting me! I started life unable to control myself, I was constantly boucing so much so that I could not even eat. I heard my owner say it would be kinder to surrender me to the shelter. My question was kinder to whom! Luckily for me (and my fursister with the same condition) I heard that Ming's assistant was going to bring us north and work with us to help us recover what ever control might be possible. She took us to a specialist who said we suffered from neurological issues but that there was no conventional treatment. But that was not the end of our quest for help as we got remedies from the Homeopath and Ming's assistant would hold us close to comfort us and make it possible for us to eat the chicken & rice meals she prepared. The road to recovery was long but the unending support of Ming & his assistant continued. I am happy to report that our issues are nearly resolved. So if you have room in your heart & home for an awesome, precious boy please send an email to the Rescue (WOW.Rescue@yahoo.com) for information & an application. The unconditional love I will give you will be a great blessing! PS. Ming says I would be fine to be adopted by myself as he has taught me to be independent and Ming is always right. Story
Thank you for your interest in Rocky. A little over a year and he is being treated for Lyme Disease. He's been at East Haven Animal Control for about two months. He was owned but didn't take care of him and he was surrendered to the shelter. He's a very good boy, loves other dogs and people. It SEEMS like he has a low prey drive and doesn't go after cats. Also has been around kids. No aggression issues at all. The volunteer who is bringing Rocky has the information on Rocky's background. Rocky is from a Connecticut pound and may require additional vetting before going home. APPLICATION FORM: http://godogdays.org/find-my-new-best-friend.htm (Copy and paste to browser.) If you would like to begin the application process, please fill in the form at the link above and we will review your information, call your personal and well as vet references. PLEASE Fill in the application if you're interested in adoption, this will save you time at the event. A letter from your vet on their letterhead will also be very helpful if they won't be open for us to call as a reference. If you are renting, please note you must have a written letter of permission from your landlord to own a dog on their property. Dog Days will be conducting interviews of prospective adopters. As a policy, Dog Days will not hold dogs for potential adopters so it is important to come to the event by 11:00am Saturday morning if you have your heart set on a particular dog. We will be posting more information on each dog as we get closer to the event weekend which is October 26&27. PLEASE NOTE THAT DOGS ARE GIVEN TO THE BEST HOME, NOT FIRST IN LINE. ADOPTION EVENT INFORMATION: http://www.godogdays.org/ (Copy and paste into your browser.) We hope you will understand the careful scrutiny of potential adopters is not only for the safety and well-being of the dog but also for a positive experience for your household. Thank you for saving the life of a shelter dog through adoption; you are truly a hero. Here is more info on Rocky: Surrendered by his owner after he continuously was caught roaming Rt 80. Owner realized it was too much for him to handle. Very Friendly and playful. Loves people and to get attention. Each dog and puppy has been seen by a Connecticut veterinarian who will also be on site to answer any questions you may have. We'll have professional groomers on site to give your new pal a bath before you take them home (no charge) and our adoption bags will give you information and samples for use at home. ** ADOPTION EVENT INFORMATION: Click Here to Visit Our Site Location http://maps.google.com/maps?rls=com.microsoft:en-us:IE-SearchBox&oe=UTF-8&rlz=1I7AURU_enUS502&um=1&ie=UTF-8&q=bishops+orchard+guilford+ct&fb=1&gl=us&hq=bishops+orchard&hnear=0x89e62cdcb42e44ef:0xe84723be04b2d639,Guilford,+CT&sa=X&ei=WS28UZK9K-v00QHyyoAo&ved=0CIoBEMgT
