Story
This spunky boy is full of love, life, kisses, adventures, snuggles and fun! Kyle knows how to keep the laughs rolling. He is a gentle soul, very laid-back, he was very comfortable around my kiddo, age 5, and leaned into him and rolled over for belly rubs. This is a gentle, sweet boy! Get ready to fall in LOVE! Kyle is approximately 3 years old, 45 lbs and a gorgeous auburn color with medium length coat curled a bit like a golden retriever! His breed will remain a mystery until you DNA test him. With his gorgeous wavy apricot colored coat, he really stands out in a crowd! His teddy bear looks always make everyone want to hug him. Kyle has a soft and calm demeanor and makes a wonderful house dog. He is quiet and curious, but also very independent. While in the yard or on walks he enjoys sniffing out all the good spots. He enjoys exercise and adventures which would make him the best hiking companion! His leash skills are great and he loves to show them off. Kyle is the kind of dog who lets the love and attention come to him. He doesn't beg and isn't high maintenance. He is content laying next to you on the couch watching a movie or at your feet while you work! He loves companionship but doesn't need attention 24/7 like some. Kyle is kid friendly and has been observed dog friendly! He does very well in playgroups and his current best friend is another dog we have, a large male dog. He is very respectful of other dogs and doesn't play rough. With some dogs he can play for hours and others he enjoys just being alongside. Kyle is a very trainable dog as he is very smart! He enjoys his treats so training him will be a breeze. He sure will make it fun. Sweet boy Kyle is full of love and happiness and his beautiful pictures and videos will never justify his amazingly sweet personality. Kyle is one of a kind special boy who appreciates love and kindness. He brings happiness! This amazing boy will love you forever and he is just looking for the same in return!! Kyle is an outstanding dog that anyone would be lucky to adopt! Apply now for this little stud muffin! Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Story
Duncan Donut is a fluffy cute baby ready for a family! He’s about 25 lbs and around 4 months old. Here’s his personality: https://youtu.be/eAoBUP7NoSc?si=qWjUTfHdErc3bJkN He is in a foster home with a great crate routine, where he is fostered with both big and small dogs. He stays in the crate and then goes out to potty. He loves to play with toys and the other dogs and cuddle with his foster family! Super sweet and playful and really laid back dude when it comes to going with the flow!! Very submissive and likes all the animals he has met! He is curious and will pretty much do anything or go anywhere you want him to. He’s pretty confident meeting new people and new animals. He doesn’t act skittish or shy. He loves to play in the water in a baby pool and frolic around in the yard. He is still young so they will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her/His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. Because he is a rescue, we cannot be sure of his breed, but it is merely a speculation based on personality and appearance. Based on his age and weight, we do not foresee him growing larger than 50 lbs. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend!
