Story
My name is Belle and I came here from a shelter. I get along with some dogs but not all of them. I love to run around and play outside at the dog park. I also love going for walks and I walk very well on a leash. I’m very friendly and will become very loving once I get to know you. I am house trained and I know how to sit, shake, and lay down. I am already spayed and I’m up to date on all of my shots.

Story
ORION is a 2 year old, male mixed breed dog that weighs 48 lbs. From his foster mom "He is 98% joyful pup, 2% brat and 100% worth it!" Adopt Me! takes pride in getting to know our dogs well so we can ensure a proper fit, forever home. This is extra important when we have a dog like Orion. We sent him out as a 14 week old puppy. At this young age, he had no issues. He was returned a year later with an ounce or two of attitude. Orion lives for car rides, a good brushing, snuggle sessions, a nap in a clean laundry pile and the chance to play to with other dogs. He is obedience trained (from a tour in our Paws Behind Bars Prison Dog Training Program). He is also leash, crate and house trained. He also knows the "place" and "touch" command. Orion is all about exercising his intelligence capabilities and is a very motivated learner. The brat factor? Trainers have shared that Orion probably grew up, during his formative time, without proper boundaries. When dogs grow up without boundaries, they create their own. Through their eyes, there is nothing wrong with this, they need order in their lives. On the other hand, the inability to "share", can cause issues. But not to fear! The scale is so heavily weighted in Orion's favor, for all the good qualities he has, that the "not sharing" can be easily managed. It will simply take the right person. He will need a kind, patient but disciplined home. He will benefit from continued obedience training. Another young dog in the house would be perfect! If interested in adopting, our process begins with submission of our application. Please visit our website at www.adoptmebluegrasspetrescue.com and click on Orion's picture in "Adoptable Dogs". Additional adoption FAQ's can be found here also. Meets will be set with approved applicants based on our "best family fit" approach. Thank you!

Story
I adopted Gemma in October of 2022 after she was found on the street and was abused by her previous owners. She is the most gentle and loving dog I have ever met and she snuggles in bed every night and jumps up and cuddles with anyone who is sitting or laying on the couch. She is a gentle but a very anxious dog and needs to be surrounded by those who are soft spoken and gentle with her. I am looking to possibly rehome her only under the circumstance that I believe the family/owner could provide a better life for her than me. I am currently a college student but the amount of free time I have is not the issue. Gem has severe seperation anxiety to the point so cannot be left alone with the freedom of being out in my apartment. She is very destructive when left alone and even with a cage she poops and pees every time I leave. She also has begun nipping and growling at some visitors, usually men. She's an extremely happy dog and would do best with a family that doesn't have many visitors.
