To adopt please fill out an adoption application. Friendly, well-socialized, gentle.  Max is a 11 month old male golden retriever mix who was rescued from a rural TN kill shelter.  Calm, low maintenance. Good with other dogs (see video!) and living comfortably with another dog in his foster home.  Fine with cats. Loves kids and gentle with the young neighborhood kids. Medium energy level outside, quiet and well-mannered in the house.  Crate trained and housebroken. Obeys basic commands.  Loves to be with his people.  Good on a leash, rides great in the car.  Healthy and fully vetted, current on shots, neutered, weighs about 55 pounds.  AWESOME young retriever mix will make a wonderful companion (and jogging partner!)  for an active family who loves the breed. PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.3/9/25 Will have updated info and pictures soon! Loki is in a New England foster home.   1/18/25 Loki Babiessss! These little ones were born to a sweet little stray mama that was taken in by a good Samaritan. They are keeping mom. When the babies were only 2 weeks old, mom got a severe case of mastitis and could no longer nurse. The finder, being fully committed to the health and well being of the babies as well as mom, took all 8 pups to work with her every single day so they wouldn't miss any of their meals. She bottle fed all of them until they were old enough to eat on their own. They are now in a foster home. They are happy, healthy babies! Mom looks like a golden retriever mix (she is pictured last), and of course we have no idea what dad is. Mom on the smaller side, about 30 lbs. We estimate these babies will be in the 35-50lb range. They are all super adorable! We will make a seperate post for each of them. This baby is Loki, he is a male with a beautiful golden blonde coat. He is one of the larger puppies in this litter. Their date of birth is 10/25/24. They will be spayed/neutered at the end of this month and can go to their homes early Feb. Please help us find these babies loving, forever homes. Located in New England. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.3/13/25 Nova Nova is, in fact, a little star. With movie star good looks and a fun personality, she is 25lbs of energy. Nova's motto is, 'When life puts an obstacle (gate) in your way, just go over it!' (There might be some Treeing Walker Coonhound in her lol) She is about 4.5 months old. Her mom is smallish, about 30 pounds, and looks like a mini Golden Retriever. It is likely that Nova is very mixed with several breeds. Dad is unknown. Nova is-• Fully crate trained, sleeping through the night and dry most days while her foster parents are at work.• Practicing going potty outside in the tundra . She’s happy the snow is melting! • Good with other dogs. Interested in cats in a playful, not harmful, kind of way.• Young enough to learn to be gentle with children.• Very shy at first, and will find every hidey hole imaginable, but she warms up fast. She is spayed, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. We have videos of this girl too. Facebook won’t let us post pics and videos together, shoot us a message and we’ll send you the videos! We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.3/14/25 Chloe Chloe is a very astute pup! She is an absolute sweetheart, very playful, smart and is picking things up very quickly. She is 25lbs+ of energy, and growing. She is hilarious in the house when zoomies arise; darting from one end to the other, up and over her foster sisters. It is quite the event. Chloe’s favorite thing to do is go outside into the woods. I think she actually prefers outside in the warmth or cold than inside the house. Any chance she gets to roll in the leaf litter and burry as far as she can into what is left of the snow. She is a lab mix, but I’d say she has some type of hearty dog breed mixed in because she prefers the cooler temps. She will be an excellent hiking buddy! She is about 4 months old. Her mom is about 30lbs and looks like a mini Golden Retriever. It is likely that Chloe is very mixed with several breeds. Dad is unknown. Chloe is-• Fully crate trained, sleeping through the night • Practicing going potty outside and she is doing very well with that. • Great with other dogs. Interested in cats in a playful, not harmful, kind of way.• Young enough to learn to be gentle with children. • Very shy at first, and will find every hidey hole imaginable, but she warms up fast. And once she does, watch out, it’s all puppy kisses, snuggles, and zoomies after that! In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Bentley Bentley is a pup with a purpose. His wide set eyes may give him a slightly goofy expression, but he knows where he is going and what he is doing when he gets there. He is more likely to go through an obstacle than over or around. He has the caramel coloring of a Yellow Lab, and at 4.5 months old is a solid 26lbs. His mom is fairly small (30 pounds, dad unknown), but he might be on the bigger side when fully grown judging by the excess skin and large paws. They were not thrilled with the cold and snow, but now that it has melted a bit they are starting to think outside is an ok place.• Fully crate trained, sleeping through the night and dry most days while his foster parents are at work.• Practicing going potty outside in the tundra. • Interested in cats in a playful, not harmful, kind of way.
