MEET BLAZE:
Breed: Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever mixDOB: 3/5/2024Size: Expected to grow into a medium to large-sized adult.Coat: Fluffy and soft golden colored, will possibly have long, thick coat that will require regular grooming.Personality: Friendly, playful, and curious, with a strong desire to please their human family.
Background: Blaze and Dash were found as "strays" together in Detroit, emaciated and starved. They are now on a regular feeding schedule and ready to find their forever homes with families who can provide the love, care, and attention they need.
Home Requirements:
A large, spacious yard with room to run and stretch his legs
An active family who can provide regular exercise and playtime
Someone home more often than not to encourage house training and socialization
Experience in house training and puppy care is necessary
A family willing to commit to regular grooming to keep his coat healthy and looking its best
Important Considerations:
Due to his potential large breed size, Blaze is not a good fit for apartments or mobile homes
A securely fenced yard is preferred to prevent escape or unwanted exploration
Blaze may be prone to chewing during the puppy stage, so it's essential to puppy-proof your home and provide plenty of chew toys
What We're Looking for in an Adopter:
A family with some experience in raising large breed dogs
An active family that will be able to provide a great balance of mental and physical stimulus
Someone who can provide regular exercise, playtime, and attention to keep him happy and healthy
A family willing to commit to regular grooming and veterinary care

Puppies are ready to go home with their new furever families and will remain in foster-to-adopt status until their spay/neuter surgery has been completed at 6 months of age at one of our partner Veterinary offices (Chesterfield, Clawson, Clinton Twp, Sterling Heights, or Rochester), which is included in the adoption fee and is non-negotiable.

OUR FOSTER ANIMALS ARE LIVING IN FOSTER HOMES AND TREATED LIKE FAMILY UNTIL THEY FIND THEIR OWN FUREVER FAMILIES. OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE. ADOPTION FEES ARE NECESSARY TO HELP US COVER VETTING COSTS FOR OUR RESCUED ANIMALS. OUR PRIMARY ADOPTION AREA IS WITHIN THE STATE OF MICHIGAN.
