Story
Lucy will be 2 years old in January. She is a golden retriever mix. She has been spayed, heart-worm negative, & up to date on vaccines. She has been on her monthly preventative every month. She is also 100% potty trained. Lucy is a very shy & timid dog. Once she gets comfortable she is less timid, but at first she will be very shy & timid. Lucy requires a very specific type of a home. She is afraid of dogs barking and the noises from high traffic areas. She will do better in a home where she isn’t left alone often, has a fully fenced in yard, and a house that doesn’t sit close to other homes and not on a busy road. If your neighbors are close, but they don’t have outdoor dogs that works, too. Lucy needs someone who has a lot of patience & someone who has had experiences with dogs like her. You just need to earn her trust. She will do better being the only dog & with kids who are older. Don’t let all of this scare you. She is very friendly & loves to cuddle. She is misunderstood.
