Story
, my dog is 8 years old. She has really bad separation anxiety, so she needs someone who's home all the time. She has a weak bladder, so someone with a yard is also best. She's a sweetheart and she loves to cuddle and loves to give kisses. She will follow you around the house if you allow her to. She is leash trained, but if she sees another dog, she might bark.

Lily is a 4-year-old, very sweet and lovable dog. She LOVES to play fetch, she loves to eat. I’m looking for someone who can spend time with her, give her lots of walks, and provide playtime at the dog park. It would be great if there was another dog she could play with. She’s great with kids and very friendly.

Story
Riptide is a young male retriever mix with a sense of adventure! He is good on the leash, and is curious but respectful of all the animals at the Funny Farm. Riptide is a medium size, at 34 lbs, but will surely get a bit bigger. This boy loves to romp and roll with doggo friends and would do best with an active family who will go and do with him! With a warm tan/brown coat and a sweet set of brown eyes, Riptide is sure to pull you away from the other dogs and make you his new family! **Volunteer Dog Walker feedback: " Riptide is an energetic, happy-go-lucky pup.  He thoroughly enjoyed his hike and kept up a good pace.  He got along well with the other dogs and was particularly interested in the lady dogs, always checking to make sure they were doing okay as they went along on the hike" **Volunteer Dog Walk feedback: " I was shocked to learn he was only 7 months old because he responded to commands and redirection like a more mature dog.  He looked up at me to check in often, and really responded well to being called "good boy" - I think he's heard that before"!

Story
*** AVAILABLE ON-SITE STARTING WEDNESDAY 4/2 *** Bert is a playful, affectionate puppy. He sleeps quietly in his own crate all night, keeping it clean and dry. He will sometimes go into his open crate on his own during the day, or flop down on a comfy dog bed to take a nap. Bert is very people-oriented and is always excited to see you. He will do the “happy dance” whether you’ve been away for 5 minutes or 5 hours. He likes to watch people and dogs walking by his fenced yard, but he never barks at them. Bert loves wrestling and playing chase with his brother, running after a ball, and finding sticks to chew in the backyard. He enjoys playing with squeaky toys and chewing on a Benebone. He is used to being a part of family routines, and he loves to be near his people. He will often follow you around the house or yard. If you sit down, he is very likely to be lying right at your feet. Bert will take breaks when playing to “check in” and get some head scratches or belly rubs. He loves to cuddle with his humans, and what could be better than burying your fingers in that soft, fluffy fur? Bert is a smart boy and has already learned to sit for a treat. He is very treat-motivated and eager to please, which will be very helpful in learning new commands. Bert responds quickly to “no” and he is easily redirected. He is learning to walk nicely on a leash. Bert gets along great with the grumpy senior dog in his foster home. He will follow her around and lay down near her when she allows it, but he can read her cues and gives her space when she needs it. Although she is smaller, Bert shows respect for her age and allows her to take toys or a favorite stick away from him. Bert’s sweet, gentle nature will make him the perfect addition to any family. If you are looking for a playful loving companion, Bert is ready to be your new best friend. Make an appointment to meet him today!
