Meet Snow White! Snow White is a 70-ish # gorgeous white floof of a Great Pyrenees. She has a perfect white heart on her forehead which sums up her lovely personality. You'd never guess that this playful goofball was filthy, skinny, and starving when a GDR member came across her roaming near the highway. The only remnants of that time are the patches where scabs once reigned and her fur is growing in. Her favorite activities include: rolling around on the couch, playing with all the other dogs in the house (who range from 12-80 lbs), eating, and napping. Having experienced the good life indoors with air conditioning, she is loathe to spend too much time outside. But her constant smile and inviting tail thumps make her an easy, joyful companion. Attributes: Great on a leash Knows all basic commands (come, sit, down, shake) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Meeko is a sweet, loving, 7 year old man looking for a new forever home. I’ve had him for several years now, and as much as I hate to see him go I don’t have the time he needs. Meeko loves to play, cuddle, and loves a good walk. He grew up with 2 babies and 3 cats, so he is the perfect companion for homes with kids or pets. We had him re-homed around a year ago, and found it he was hit so we took him back immediately. He isn’t aggressive because of it, but he will need some extra love so he knows he’s safe and loved where he is. We’re not asking for an adoption fee, because all we want for him is a good home.

She has been spayed and received all her vaccinations. We think she was hit by a car before she was rescued, but she seems not to have any lasting damage. She’s been in her foster home since 5/16/24. She is potty trained, and is working on crate training. She knows how to sit, and is learning to wait, come, leave it, and hop up! Jamaica is very shy at first, and will flourish in a calm environment. Once she warms up she will be your best friend! She will thrive in a home with only adults or with chill teenagers. Best of all would be a home with a confident, playful dog to show her the ropes and help her build confidence. She does great with cats in her foster home. Jamaica loves to play with a ball, splash in water, and get the zoomies around the yard. She also loves to just be quiet with you. Jamaica may do best with rescue-experienced adopters who work from home or are around a lot. Thus far, she is not a fan of being crated and may have some moderate separation distress or anxiety. Her ideal home is rural or suburban and she definitely will require being placed in a home with another playful dig to be at her happiest. Her adoption fee includes a training session with a SSDR certified force-free trainer, leash, collar, and harness. If you’re looking for a very sweet, loving, playful addition to your home, Jamaica might be the girl for you! You can submit an application at streetsavvydogrescue.org.
