Story
Looking for a new cuddle buddy? Look no further than Wigs! This young, male pup is as friendly as they come, and he's full of affection, gentle playfulness, and curiosity. He's the perfect companion for a nice long walk, as he's athletic and loves to explore, and he's good with other dogs, too. He especially loves giving kisses to his human friends! If you're looking for a playful, fun, and sweet dog, then Wigs is the pup for you. Come meet him today and fall in love! When Wigs came in he was a little shy, but since being at the shelter he has blossomed. He has attended a car show event where a lot of different people have pet and greeted him. We have learned that he becomes shy/timid around loud noises/sounds. He's been in a play group at the shelter with a dog named Chisel, and they are best buds. We would love for you to come and see if he is the right fit for your lifestyle. Wigs is also a part of an 11 dog playgroup at the shelter.Long walks or fenced in back yard is always the best environment for dogs, but exercise is the main goal. We can test our dogs with other dogs at the shelter, but not every dog may get along with your dog this is why if you do have a pet at home we strongly suggest meet and greets before adopting. When adopting an animal at the shelter please know the responsibility of an animal. Most of the animals at the shelter have come in as a stray which mean they may not know how to sit or stay. They also might not have manners such as not to jump. Adopting takes patience. Please research the dog breed you are interested in and remember it takes time. Refer to the sheltering 3/3/3 rule of adopting for help.
