Story
Trenton is a stunning 2-year-old male Retriever/Aussie mix who weighs 40 pounds. This gentle and quiet soul is looking for a forever home where he can share his love and companionship. Trenton is the epitome of friendliness. He gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, and kids, making him a versatile and wonderful addition to any family. His calm demeanor and gentle nature make him an ideal companion for those seeking a serene and loving pet. While Trenton may not be treat-motivated, his heart is full of love, and he's always eager to please. He’s a blank slate, ready to learn and grow with the right family who can guide him with patience and understanding. His lack of obedience commands just means there's a world of potential for bonding through training and play. One thing to note is that Trenton is quite the adventurer! He loves to explore and is a bit of a climber, so a secure yard is a must to keep this curious boy safe and sound. Trenton’s unique mix of Retriever and Aussie gives him a striking appearance and a heart full of loyalty. If you’re looking for a faithful friend who will fill your days with quiet joy and unconditional love, Trenton is the perfect match.

Story
I received Snow when I was in college 7 years ago and he has been the sweetest and most kind dog ever. Life got busy after I graduated and started work with also having a child. I haven’t been able to put much time or money into him and want him in a home that would be able to take care of him better than I can right now. He loves to lay down and relax when you want to but also loves to take walks with you.

Story
Soldier is a handsome 11-year-old American Pitbull mix. He is very healthy and active for his age. Soldier was abandoned at a boarding facility at aprox. 2 years old and after some time with them and not get any interest he came to Apollo. Soldier has trust issues and has decided he will like some people and not others. Usually, confident people are good for him. He is very spoiled by staff and volunteers. Loves to go on walks and then chill outside if weather is nice. Even though Soldier is selective with people we still believe he has someone out there perfect for him. Maybe someone that lives alone and doesn't have many visitors. Someone that can take him on walks and let him chill on the sofa. He is extremely clean in his kennel and when he has been in foster homes, he had no accidents. He's been known to like other dogs, but we still recommend slow introductions. We do not recommend he gets exposed to lots of people or any situation that might make him anxious. Soldier is a great companion. He walks great on the leash and is not reactive to people nor dogs while walking. He does not like cats nor rabbits. If you live alone and have a quiet life and would like a best friend Soldier is your guy.
