Story
Welcome to Hank from CCPAL foster program. He is a 3.5 to 4 year old Golden Retreiver/Shepherd dog. He is very smart and affectionate. He has upright ears. He does not jump up, good on a leash, good in a car, knows sit command, potty trained and good with other dogs and kids. He would be a great pet for a family. He lives in a house with other dogs and does great. He also lives with cats. He is currently in foster care until we find his forever home. He weighs about 36 pounds and is a medium sized dog. He could easily go in a home with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is super friendly to all people including strangers. He could be adopted locally in Texas, which is where he is right now or we could work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See his cute video!!

Story
Welcome Sage to CCPAL foster program. Sage is a 6 to 8 month old Golden Retriever/Collie mix. She is medium sized at about 30 pounds. She is good with other dogs. She likes the water, playing with sticks and walks nicely right beside you. She has a soft coat and will make a nice walking companion. I do think she will stay medium sized. She is spayed, vaccinated and healthy. She currently is in foster care in Tarpley Texas. Her and the other dogs in foster care here are up for adoption through CCPAL Rescue. Sage would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Sage is not food protective and gets lots of off leash play time with other dogs her size. She is a wonderful dog and through some of the puppy antics but still young enough to raise with the attributes you want in an adult. Someone that isn’t gone all day every day is best for any new rescue dog. You will need time to finish off her training. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
