Meet Snow White! Snow White is a 70-ish # gorgeous white floof of a Great Pyrenees. She has a perfect white heart on her forehead which sums up her lovely personality. You'd never guess that this playful goofball was filthy, skinny, and starving when a GDR member came across her roaming near the highway. The only remnants of that time are the patches where scabs once reigned and her fur is growing in. Her favorite activities include: rolling around on the couch, playing with all the other dogs in the house (who range from 12-80 lbs), eating, and napping. Having experienced the good life indoors with air conditioning, she is loathe to spend too much time outside. But her constant smile and inviting tail thumps make her an easy, joyful companion. Phantom is a 1 year and 4 month old English cream golden retriever. He’s a very loving good boy with a lot of puppy in him. He’s potty trained and crate trained. He loves everyone! He is nothing but a big love bug. He tries to make friends with all people and dogs. He even hangs out with our chickens. Sadly though we don’t have a lot of time for Phantom. I’m a single dad with 7 year old with high functioning autism. Juggling the kid, therapy, school, activities, and my work (double shifts) have gotten a bit much. And phantom is finding himself in a kennel more and more. I feel terrible for him and would love nothing for him but to be running around on a farm some where. I grew up with dogs and have had dogs most of my life so this truly breaks my heart. But my son comes first and Phantom deserves more than I can give him.

Kyle has a soft and calm demeanor and makes a wonderful house dog. He is quiet and curious, but also very independent. While in the yard or on walks he enjoys sniffing out all the good spots. He enjoys exercise and adventures which would make him the best hiking companion! His leash skills are great and he loves to show them off. Kyle is the kind of dog who lets the love and attention come to him. He doesn't beg and isn't high maintenance. He is content laying next to you on the couch watching a movie or at your feet while you work! He loves companionship but doesn't need attention 24/7 like some. Kyle is kid friendly and has been observed dog friendly! He does very well in playgroups and his current best friend is another dog we have, a large male dog. FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Meet Lady! She is a friendly, 8-year-old, 79 lb Golden Retriever/Lab mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA in hopes of finding her forever home here in WA! Lady is a very sweet dog that walks well on leash and loves to go on adventures. Overall, she walks well on a leash, but she is a strong girl and will pull on the leash should she see something she’d like to check out. She already knows basic commands such as "sit" and "shake" and takes treats gently. Lady is very smart and a quick learner, which will make training a breeze! She would love a home with a yard where she can explore and lounge! Due to her size and strength, we are recommending kids over 10 years old. She can be dog selective, so her ideal home would be a one dog household where she can soak up all the love and attention from her people. Overall, Lady is an awesome dog with so many great qualities and would love to spend the rest of her days in a loving forever home rather than a commercial kennel. She will make a great adventure companion and wonderful addition to any lucky household. Lady is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $400.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Say hello to Binks! He is a 1 1/2-year-old, 50lb Golden Retriever/Pit Bull mix, who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter in CA. He is one big butterball of love! He is very sweet but is strong and can be bouncy and mouthy so he will need an adopter who is committed to working on his overall basic obedience skills with him. He is very smart, and food motivated and does well with training. He is generally well behaved, loves meeting new people and does well in a crate. He does well with other dogs, but mostly enjoys attention from his people. He loves to crawl and roll around in the grass and would love a home with a securely fenced yard where he can run, play and crawl. We are recommending no young children due to his bouncy nature right now. He is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $450.
