Story
Meet the beautiful Raven! We are helping her current family find a new home for her. Her new human baby sister is allergic to her. Raven is a very friendly girl. She gets along well with other dogs and has been good around kittens. She hasn't seemed to want to escape backyards and has fairly good manners. She enjoys a good cuddle sesh and is very loyal once she knows you're her person. Raven does have pretty severe skin allergies that we are working to get under control. So far, it looks like she'll be on daily allergy medication which will range around $25-30 a month. This medication will likely be live long for her. She may require a sensitive skin diet too. Although she may have skin allergies, she is worth it and deserves the best. If you're interested in meeting Raven or have more questions about her skin condition, feel free to give us a call or fill out an application to meet her!

Story
Looking to fill your home with happiness and laughs? Well, look no further! This sweet bundle of love is such a sweet goofball who is looking for his next greatest adventure! Tazz is a silly looking 8 month old boy with a big ole' underbite, and an even bigger head ... what breeds consume this perfect boy you may be wondering? Tazz is a pitt, french bulldog, aussie MIX!! How adorable is that? As a staff favorite, Tazz was scooped up into foster with a staff members of ours where he only further proved his adorableness. He's living with 2 other large dogs while in foster and doing so great with them both. He loves to soak up attention and snuggles with his human on the couch, but is also great at crawling into his crate for a good nap when it's time. If you are looking for a boy who promises to brighten your life and keep you smiling, ask about Tazz today!

Story
Jack was surrendered to me nine months ago by a family that found themselves overwhelmed with raising children and having to return to the office after the pandemic. He came from a reputable CO English Cream Breeder. He was being crated most of the day and night and neglected. It is not his safe place so please don't crate him. He loves kids and other animals and will just sit and watch the birds. He loves to play in the river and has discover that he knows how to swim! He loves hiking and exploring the outdoors so an active family would be wonderful. I was waiting until his 2nd birthday to neuter him which is in October. He is absolutely gorgeous and literally stops people in their tracks with his sweet demeanor and handsome face. He loved his family and was heart broken by the experience so I will only re home him to a family with another dog that likes to play, otherwise I think he will feel abandoned. I really love him but his best life is with a canine companionship.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. June Carter is looking for a FOSTER or FOREVER home Summary: June Carter is a spirited young pup with a heart full of love and a zest for life. Rescued from the Wind River Reservation at a tender age of 5 weeks, she and her brother battled through illness with resilience and are now thriving. June is now seeking a foster or forever home where she can continue to grow and flourish. Personality: June Carter is described as affectionate, playful, and eager to please. She is crate trained, knows basic commands, and enjoys learning through positive reinforcement. While she bonds closely with her foster mom, she can be cautious around strangers, especially men. June loves outdoor adventures, playing in the snow, and interacting with other dogs. She's a bit assertive with her food and toys but responds well to guidance. Special Requirements: June Carter has been diagnosed with hip dysplasia and is currently managed with carprofen and fish oil supplements to support her joint health. She requires a fenced yard due to her active nature and preference for outdoor play. She would thrive in a home without children and prefers the company of women. Her ideal home would provide opportunities for play, exploration, and ongoing positive reinforcement training. Compatibility: June gets along well with cats and other dogs. She's suited for a home with adults who can provide the understanding and patience needed to help her build confidence around new people and environments. If you're ready to give June Carter the loving home she deserves, visit laramieanimals.org to apply today! (breed mix is an estimate based on her appearance) Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  At Laramie Animal Welfare Society, the first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website www.laramieanimals.org. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by our adoption team which typically takes 7+ days.  Keep in mind, the animal you’re interested in when applying may be adopted and no longer available by the time your application is approved. We do not place animals on hold.   Pending approval, your application is valid for 6 months. Also pending approval, you will receive contact information, so that you may inquire about the personalities of specific animals. Adoptions for individual animals will occur by private adoption appointment. Because we are 100% foster-based, appointments are scheduled pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules.  Should you want to proceed with the adoption, a brief appointment will occur at our adoption center to sign adoption paperwork, receive medical records, and pay the adoption fee.    **Dog/Puppy applications -  Because of the large volume of dog/puppy applications we are receiving these applications may take longer to process, please be patient. We do not do first come first serve but we place the dog/puppy in the best suited home. If you have questions about the Dog/Puppy process please email lawsdogprogram@gmail.com** August 19, 2024, 2:09 am

Story
June and Johnny are a playful pair of 1-year-old Golden Retriever mixes with hearts full of resilience and love. Found abandoned together in the desert, they have forged a deep bond that shines through their shy beginnings. June, with her blonde fur, is the more outgoing of the duo, while Johnny, with his striking red coat, follows her lead with trust and affection. Although they don't need to be adopted together, they thrive in each other's company and ideally would love to stay together. For families considering adopting them separately, we recommend another confident canine companion to help them settle into their new home. Both June and Johnny are eager to please and respond well to positive reinforcement, especially when accompanied by treats. They would blossom in a loving environment where they can play, explore, and grow with their new family. If you're ready to open your heart and home to this delightful duo, June and Johnny will repay your kindness with endless joy and devotion.

Story
Petunia, Golden Retriever/Poodle/Australian Cattle Dog/Kelpie. 1 yr. 42 lbs. Petunia spent the first 14 weeks in a wire kennel. Because she didn’t get out of the kennel for so long and did not have much exposure to the outside world, she will take time to work up confidence to experience new situations in a new home. Petunia is a little shy at first but warms up quickly. She’s somewhat bossy with other dogs so would probable do better as on only dog. She needs a home with someone home most of the time to give her the attention she has never had. Call Cindy 970-353-1385
