Story
Meet Elsa: The Energetic and Sweet Goldendoodle Looking for a Loving Home Elsa is a delightful Goldendoodle who is ready to find her forever home. At 18 months old and weighing fifty-three pounds, Elsa is a perfect blend of her Standard Poodle mom and Golden Retriever dad. Her charming personality and affectionate nature make her a wonderful companion for any family. Background Elsa was adopted by her current family when she was just 7 or 8 weeks old. Unfortunately, they soon realized that they did not have the time to dedicate to her training and care, which led to the decision to rehome her. Despite this early setback, Elsa has thrived and developed into a sweet and energetic young dog. Personality and Temperament Elsa is known for her loving and friendly demeanor. She is great with other dogs, cats, and older children, making her an excellent addition to a variety of household settings. Her good-natured personality shines through in all her interactions, and she has even been around a bearded dragon without any issues! Medical History Elsa recently had a medical appointment with her veterinarian, where she received a clean bill of health. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm-negative, and on preventative medication. Additionally, Elsa is microchipped, ensuring her safety and security. Training and Behavior Elsa is almost fully potty trained and has never been crated. However, she is still young and may chew out of boredom or when left unattended. She would benefit greatly from a family that is committed to continuing her obedience training and providing her with plenty of mental and physical stimulation. Ideal Home Elsa would thrive in a home where a family member is present most of the time. This is essential to ensure she receives the attention and supervision she needs. An active family that can provide her with daily exercise and engage in activities that keep her well-balanced is also important. Elsa needs a home that will help her become the best dog she can be by working on her training and providing a loving environment. Story
Jager has had to practically live in a crate so I don't want to adopt him to anyone who is going to leave him in a crate. He's only 18 months old.He has had yeast on his legs because he's been left in a crate for so many hours but that is all cleared up now.He needs manners because he was purchased then just stuck in a crate, not trained except to potty train him, which is at least something. He is SO SMART that the very first time we had him at PetCo, he was listening to everything and trying so hard to please. He is great with kids, but with his size, he doesn't need to be knocking over small children, however, he loves any kind of attention he can get from anyone since he's not had any until now. He's good with other dogs but will bark at them every time he sees them. Perhaps to play? We aren't sure so many he wants all the attention to focus on himself.PLEASE don't apply just because he's handsome, which he really is; he needs regular grooming; training (NO CRATE please) and he needs a home to love him enough to teach him how to be the best dog. He needs a securely fenced yard to go potty in but he's a family member so he won't be out there alone or for long or you won't get this boy. He needs exercise and to learn leash walking so you can both get some exercise. ( He leash walks at PetCo but that is once a week)NO SMALL CHILDREN AND NO DOGS UNDER 30 LBSApply online at MadisonARF.org for this fully vetted young man.His adoption fee is $350.
