She has been spayed, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworms, and is current on vaccines and preventatives. Maya has shown exceptional behavior during car rides and interactions with cats, and has made impressive progress in learning basic commands. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.This is a list of the current animals available for adoption from Krewe de Rescue.  If you would like to meet an animal we have available for adoption, please fill out the adoption application.  All fields must be filled out for application to submit properly.  If a field does not apply to you, please enter N/A in the field. Adoption Application adoption application >>>  If Millie could be described in one word, it would be PERFECTION! Millie has been staying with her foster family for a little over a week and has tackled so many adjustments like an angel. In her foster home she has a large dog and small dog that she plays equally well with. There are also several farm animals, like horses and donkeys that she has shown very little interest in other than to sniff through the fencing. Millie is ten month old Doodle, with all the right stuff! She has a great brain that is eager to please, she is house broken, and does not mind being in her kennel. Her previous home said she was allowed to be out all the time, but foster mom crates when no one is home for safety. She has a very gentle nature but can be very playful. She would do great in a home with other dogs to keep her company but would also do well being the center of someone’s attention. Doodles are known for the energy and will require regular grooming appointments to maintain her coat. When she first arrived, she was very matted. Her groomer believes she is mixed with an English Cream Retriever, accounting for her extremely thick coat. Our adoption fee is $175 and includes age appropriate vaccines, spay, vet check and a heartworm test.
