Story
Meet Willow! This Goldendoodle weighs 54 lbs and is 8 years old. Willow is a sweet, well-behaved lady who is hoping someone out there can find it in their hearts to give her the love she deserves.
General Behavior: According to Willow’s foster, Willow would be a great dog for a woman or a patient family with older, quiet children. She can be nervous around some men and loud, rambunctious toddlers. She is super sweet and loves attention.
Likes & Dislikes: As her tree-themed name suggests, Willow loves the great outdoors! In fact, it’s sometimes difficult to get her to come back inside when she’s been playing and sunning herself in the yard.
Training: Ladylike Willow has wonderful manners! She is house trained if let out regularly, and has nice manners. She is a perfect passenger in the car, is well-behaved for the groomer, and walks well on a leash. She sleeps in a dog bed at night.
Medical: Willow is a healthy girl! She just needs her monthly flea and heartworm preventatives, like any dog.
Other Animals: Willow does well with dogs of all sizes and likes to play with dogs her size or slightly smaller. She ignores cats. We feel Willow would transition best into a home with another friendly, playful pup to pal around with - she really enjoys her play time with fur friends.
Children: Well-behaved Willow needs a calm home without a lot of noise, so she'd do best with a family with calm, understanding, older children (ages 8+).
Home: Willow would do well in a single-family home with a securely fenced yard where she can run and play to her heart’s content.
Grooming: As a Goldendoodle, this glamorous gal will need brushing a couple of times per week, a bath 1-2 times per month, and a full groom every 4 to 8 weeks, depending on your preferred length for her coat.
Overall: Willow will make a wonderful companion for someone who can love her forever.
