Bailey is a rescue from a shelter but my children are severely allergic. We love her and are sad to have to find her another home. Bailey is smart, house-trained and is very great with the girls. She loves to play (especially with tennis balls) and loves walks outside. It would be ideal for Bailey to go to a home with a fenced-in yard so that she can run outside. I do have a large crate and other items that will go with her. We just want her to go to a good home.

Sam is a friendly dog with a big heart, looking for a new home with someone experienced in dog care. Adopted from the Cobb County pound eight years ago, he’s spent most of his life in the backyard with little attention. As a result, he’s not well-trained and will need someone who understands the challenges of working with an under-socialized dog. Sam is starved for attention and eager to bond, but he can be a bit jumpy as he tries to get close. With patience and consistency, he calms down and responds well to affection. He’s lived outside most of his life, so transitioning to a new environment will require time and effort. If you’re up for the challenge and have the experience to guide him, Sam could become a loyal and loving companion. Please reach out if you have any questions or for rehoming details. Thank you!

would like to adopt with his sister Iris Sherman was raised from a puppy with small dogs, and he thinks he is small. He has no clue how big he is. He is so sweet and affectionate, and he loves to lay on you and try to sit in your lap. He’s energetic and active and needs to run and play, but he’s a big baby and very loving and gentle once he settles down. He went to a trainer when he was about 18 months old, and she harmed him. Since then, he barks at other dogs when he sees them, and he needs a slow introduction when meeting new dogs. Once he has that, he loves to play and run with other dogs and has lots of fun with them.    He will eat socks or soft toys so those cannot be left out on the floor. Sherman also has allergies and gastro issues. He is doing well with a prescription food and supplements in addition to preventive treatment and maintenance for his allergies. He needs a home where she can get a lot of exercise and attention and be a cherished part of the family. He has a sensitive stomach and has allergies.  He eats hills z/d sensitive. He has Mometesone lotion applied to his feet. Age: 3 years  Weight: 60 lbs  Vetting: Up-to-date on vaccines, spayed and heartworm negative and up to date on vaccines Temperament: good with bigger kids and other dogs.  Training: House trained  and knows how to use pee pads.   For questions, please email aimiablepetcare@aol.com   To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Would like to adopt with her brother Sherman Iris Eyeris is a loving, tender hearted no issues dog. She loves everyone and everything. She loves to run and play. Her feelings get hurt if you won’t give her attention. She came from a breeding situation and was in bad shape when her current owner adopted her. She is the most loving dog ever. She has never been an only dog and with her need for affection she needs another dog in the house, even if it is a small one. She does get a little separation anxiety when you leave the house and she’ll get wound up.  Her current owner doesn’t crate her, and crating may keep her from getting into any mischief while you’re gone. She will eat your shoes if you leave them where she can get them.  She has a passion for sandals. She loves to sleep with you and she’s a great sleeper. If Iris really needs to potty and there is a pee pad down, she will pee on the pad. She never misses. Using the pee pad is rare though and she would rather pottie outside.  She needs a home where she can get a lot of exercise and attention and be a cherished part of the family.   Age: 3 years  Weight: 50 lbs  Vetting: Up-to-date on vaccines, spayed and heartworm negative and up to date on vaccines Temperament: good with bigger kids and other dogs.  Training: House trained and knows how to use pee pads.   For questions, please email aimiablepetcare@aol.com   To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review.
