Story
Meet Redford from Sadie's litter! This little guy is so handsome. He is soft, sweet, and smart! Apply to adopt him today! The adoption fee for these Golden Doodle mixes is $695. Adoption fee includes first vaccines, deworming, started on heartworm meds, spay or neuter, vet check, microchip. Our adoption fees are higher on the designed breeds to help offset costs for sick or injured pets. All funds go to helping pets. To meet one of our adoptable pets or to start the adoption process, please access the adoption application on our website, www.crossroadsanimalrescue.org or download and email it to crossroadsanimalrescuesc@gmail.com. We will then approve you (sending in the application does not obligate you to adopt) and we can set up a time for you to meet one or more of our pets. You can then pay the adoption fee and officially adopt after meeting your new family member. Alternatively, you can do the adoption over the phone before meeting your new pet. The benefit to this is that we will hold the pet for you. However, the adoption fee is non-refundable if you changed your mind after adopting over the phone. Most of our pets are obtained from animal control and therefore we are not certain of their breed or breed mix. We list breed mixes that they most resemble or that their former owners said they were. However, we don't make any guarantees about breed - it is a best guess! Our adoption fees include the spay/neuter surgery, deworming, vet exam, and up to date vaccines. It also includes microchipping as well as heartworm testing or feline leukemia testing. We are happy to adopt out-of-state (and even out of the country!) but transportation for the adopted pet is the responsibility of the new pet owner. If you cannot adopt a pet at this time but would like to support our rescue, please click on the "Sponsor a Pet" button. Your donation will help feed the dogs, cats, small animals, and horses at CARE. Please email at crossroadsanimalrescuesc@gmail.com or call us at (864)972-9906 for more information. This phone number will reach Crossroads Animal Hospital, which is the home of CARE. During business hours, a receptionist will be able to speak with you regarding our adoptable pets. After business hours, the only way to contact CARE is via email. Our puppies and kittens are also eligible for 10% off the rest of the vaccines in their puppy/kitten vaccination series at Crossroads Animal Hospital. Most adult pets are spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Puppies and kittens may have the surgery before adoption or we may have new owners return later for the surgery. Story
We are looking to rehome our 4yr old mini Goldendoodle, Cooper. He’s a playful, and loving guy who is looking for a calm, easy going family to love him. He’s neutered, up to date on all requirements, has had his teeth cleaned every year, potty trained of course, leash and crate trained, follows basic commands, and has gone through dog training classes. Why are we rehoming? We have a young infant which is a little too overstimulating for Cooper and we can no longer give Cooper the attention and care he deserves. What he’s looking for in his next family: At least one person who works from home so he doesn’t need to be in the crate for long periods Must have large fenced in yard - he loves fetch! No young children (too overstimulating for him) Someone who would love taking him for walks (he loves to stop and smell the roses- literally!) Someone who’s comfortable with ongoing grooming fees (about $80 every 6-8 weeks) Cats are ok May consider one other dog it
