Because he wasn’t in an ideal situation early on, Goose is looking for someone who is patient and consistent about building trust with him. Once you do, you’ll own his heart forever! And yours is sure to melt when he comes and leans his head against you to show his devotion. Goose is not one to attend Happy Hour on the local patio or hang at the neighborhood park–too many strangers lurk in those places. He’s perfectly content to wait at home while you’re out and about, saving all of his love for those he knows best and trusts. Goose adores toys and is proficient at backyard zoomies. He would appreciate a securely fenced yard where he can play safely. He’s sure to make you laugh with his antics. He also finds joy in playing with other dogs, so another medium-energy dog-buddy would be a bonus–this dood has a fun-loving and affectionate nature.Guero has been working diligently with one of DDR’s partner trainers and is one very well-educated dood! Because of his relationship with the trainer, his adoption is limited to the DFW area. Hi, I’m Roxy — an “experienced” doodle with a young heart and a passionate love for fetch (seriously, I could play all day). I’m easygoing, affectionate, and totally down to cuddle — just don’t be surprised if I gently climb into your lap like I weigh 10 pounds instead of… well, more than that. I bond quickly with both humans and other dogs, and I’d love a home where I can have a furry friend to keep me company. I do have some allergies (chicken and beef are a no-go), so I’ll need a fish-and-rice diet and allergy meds for life — but I promise I’m worth the extra care. I settle really well at home and will happily snooze next to you if you’re having a lazy morning. I do get a little anxious when you leave, but I’ve already made great progress and usually quiet down by the time you hit the front steps. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving sidekick who’ll always be by your side (or in your lap), I’m your girl. Let’s fetch, cuddle, and live our best lives together. Roxy’s adoption fee is $400. Goosey is so sweet and loving, and since he is 100% potty-trained he won't hide little eggs around your home! He has the face of a Golden and a beautiful fleece coat. He loves walks and is great on a lea..squirrel! - okay, maybe just good on a leash if a squirrel doesn’t show up, yet still very manageable. Goosey is also really smart. Intelligence + food motivation = one fast learner! Athletic as well, Goosey "feels the need for speed" (he wrote that) and will be a great running buddy who is respectful of your pace. Goosey will not let you duck out (he insisted) on what is important to him—cuddles and companionship. He wants to be where you are. He does well in the car and at the Vet. While he is okay in a crate where he can easily stand and turn around, he wants to level set—he’s much happier not being cooped up. Goosey is a good boy and does well left out on his own. Goosey has medium energy. He can romp and nap with equal joy. His size may be better suited to kids 10+. With proper warm-up time and introductions, Goosey is good with other dogs, too. Like all adopted dogs, he will need the proper time to decompress in his new surroundings and routine. He will do best in a home where his family is home most of the time. Answers to Mav, Maverick, Papa or Baby He has great energy and is trained to be recalled off leash. Likes to eat grass and loves lots of treats, cuddles, kisses, and “rubbins”. He is also very good at playing fetch He has a sensitive intestine and has to be on a gentle, grainfree diet. Sensitive to chicken or turkey. Currently eats Salmon Jinx dog food (wet and dry). Slowly switching to more quality food like Blue Buffalo Basic or Royal Canin (As suggested by vet I am choosing to rehome due to fact that I cannot support his unexpected medical needs as they occur infrequently but every so often. I am getting to become anxious and can sense it. I hate how its affecting him. I have been considering this for a few months but my connection to him has delayed my final decision. I am keeping him until the person comes along that can provide with a quality of life I can no longer maintain.
