Story
Oh, Wallace. Wallace is a snuggler; he loves getting into my lap when I'm on the sofa. He's funny, enthusiastic, totally loyal (sleeps by my bed every night), and tucks his bum under nicely when he's asked to sit for a treat. He knows the basic commands. Wallace is our second dog, and he's been more of a handful than we anticipated. His number one issue is anxiety. He shows his anxiety anytime we're gone, by pulling things like shoes to the family room rug, shredding napkins, and cleaning out my cat's food dishes. Sometimes he will chew the shoes; sometimes they appear untouched. He has chewed the corner of our wooden coffee table. He is house-trained and walks well on the leash with his harness. He loves wearing his harness! He will always sound the alarm when he sees people in our driveway or walking our street. He is socialized with other dogs but needs more. His birthday is November 2023. We adopted him from a family that acquired him as a puppy.

Cooper loves water—creeks, lakes, puddles, you name it—and sleeps peacefully through the night near his people. He’s alert but not reactive, affectionate but not clingy. A true Velcro dog at heart, he thrives on companionship and will follow you loyally wherever you go. If you're looking for a sweet, smart, and slightly philosophical doodle to be your best friend, Cooper is ready to steal your heart. Hi! I'm Honeycrisp Appple (Benny). I'm a gentle giant who loves to play fetch, play with kids, and also loves to lay around. I love my tennis balls, do well in the car and on a leash. I don't need to be crated and I know how to go outside for potty   I would do best in a home with other dogs or people who are home quite a bit, because I love being around my humans. Must have yard or at least take me to run at the dog park often.  Come meet me and fall in love!
