Story
Tut is a healthy 11 month old pup who loves both people and dogs. When he goes on walks, he likes to find the biggest stick to bring home. He spends a lot of his time resting at this stage, but looks forward to going to the park for playtime. Tut is gentle with kids and enjoys the attention. Overall, he is a calm and well-behave pup. Tut is also house trained, and will let you know when he needs to go out to use the bathroom. He does require an experienced adopter for ongoing training; commands and focus.

Story
AVAILABLE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY We have Great Dane puppy mixes. These puppies are 5 month old, neutered males. They will grow up to be 80-90 pounds when full grown. These guys are very sweet but timid, so they will need a home that is willing to work on their socialization, with people and dogs. They are at the fun 'teenage' stage and their limbs are growing faster then lightning, so they can be clumsy at times.  Their favorite things to do include finding exciting new places to explore, playing with toys, receiving lots of pets, and munching on yummy treats. The ideal home for one of these puppies will be with someone familiar with large breed dogs.  Ted A957155 - larger white patch on chest Barney A957154 -white line on chest Mashall A957153 -white on muzzle  Since I’m not at the adoption center, you can make arrangements to meet me by submitting your fully completed Adoption Profile Form to adoptinquire@peninsulahumanesociety.org and a staff member will call you to conduct a phone interview before making an appointment to meet me in person. Story
We got her from a family friend almost 4 years ago. She is 5 years old, her birthday is in May. We are looking for a family that has time to walk her and play with her. A backyard is ideal. She is potty trained and will let you know when she needs to go out. We unfortunately have to rehome her due to having family members move into our home. She only has until the beginning of April 2025 with us, we are desperate to find her a new, loving home. If a home is not found, we might need to put her down...and I really dont want to do that to her. She can be loud at times, protective, very playful and super loving. She loves to cuddle.

Story
Meet Ruby Meet Ruby, the Stunning Great Dane Mix! Ruby is a 1.5-year-old Great Dane mix with a heart as big as her paws! This gorgeous girl came to us from a local shelter where she struggled with the stress of kennel life and sadly ran out of time. Thankfully, a loving foster stepped up, and Ruby is now thriving in her temporary home. Weighing 68 pounds, Ruby could benefit from gaining a bit more weight, but she’s full of energy and excitement for life. She loves other dogs, both big and small, and adores playtime. However, she does need supervision since she isn’t fully aware of her size or strength yet. Ruby is also currently fostered with a cat, and she’s learning how to live peacefully with her feline housemate. Ruby has a sweet and loving nature—she gets along with everyone she meets and would love an active family who can keep up with her adventurous spirit. Her ideal home would have: • A yard for her to run and play. • Another dog to be her playmate. • A family with time and energy for training and daily exercise. Ruby is making excellent progress with house and crate training, and her food motivation makes her eager to learn. She enjoys walks, exploring the outdoors, and being part of an active lifestyle. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate, and beautiful companion, Ruby is the perfect match! Help us find this wonderful girl the forever family she deserves. Story
Poppy is 2.5 years old, 120lbs. She attends doggie day care and gets along well with other dogs in this social setting, but not with female dogs in the home. She is very young at heart still, and plays very big. A home without small kids or cats would suit Poppy best as she is very excitable and loves to jump, play in a manner that can be rough, and get the zoomies. She loves big, and enjoys human companionship and affection. Poppy is house broken & crate trained. She takes meals in her crate, then rests for an hour. She knows all basic commands and enjoys walking on leash. She loves camping and playing at the beach.
