We are unsure if he is friendly with other dogs as he is still new to our shelter, so make sure to bring your own pup with you for a meet and greet! He is around two years old, awaiting a neuter appointment, up to date on shots, and micrchipped! Come meet Goliath today!

ADOPTION PROCESS: The adoption process is simple and straight forward.Pre-Screening Adoption Application here: https://tinyurl.com/adoptfromHSCCOur receptionists can usually approve/dis-approve your application same day. Once approved and everyone is in agreeance with the decision being made you then are able to pay your adoption fees. Adoption contract will be signed. If the pet has not been spayed/neutered or current on rabies vaccination prior to adoption, the pet you wish to adopt will not be able to go home same day as it's adoption day. We will schedule the next available appointment day & time - you will be informed with further directions/instructions at that time.  We hope this answers any and all questions you may have regarding the adoption process.

Story
Simba is an amazing sweet boy who wants to constantly play and cuddle. I never wished to give him away but my husband just got deported and I will be needing to move and cannot take him with me. He has always gotten along with my shih tzu but I am not sure if he will get along with other dogs as this November he was attacked by pittbulls. He is very sweet and not aggressive with people , he loves to meet new people and is very affectionate with kids. I just want him to go to a loving home with people who will value him and take care of him and love him like we did.

Story
Bishop will be 3 4/19/25. He is a sensitive soul and a true scooby doo. He is 185 lbs of love. He loves to be with people. He does not get along with his brother and is a resource guarder so we keep them separated. He does okay with his sister. Both Danes. He does have a high prey drive so he will chase the cat if he runs. An ideal house would be where he is the only male and can be the alpha. No small children as he doesn’t respect his size at all. It pains us to rehome him but our daughter and grandson need to move home and we have safety concerns with an infant and 2 male dogs that don’t get along.

This giant boy was found dumped at Altama Plantation in Brunswick, Ga. He was already neutered, microchipped, crate/house trained, knows some tricks, and had on an expensive collar, but even with the microchip being registered, and owner contacted, they didn't come forward to claim him. Gus is a big ole baby that is a total goober that kind of just bops about the rescue when he's out to socialize with the others. He has gotten a long with most people he's met, but needs a slow introduction to men and needs a home with no kids under the age of 16. He has shown unease around men, even trusted men to the rescue. He is a very big boy that doesn't know his size at all so he will try to rub against you or lean on your while almost knocking you over. He needs experienced Great Dane owners and a high fenced in yard so that he can learn boundaries.
