Story
These puppies came to us and shortly after tested positive for parvovirus. They have all received treatment and are now fully recovered and ready to find their new homes! Due to the fact that these puppies have had parvo, they should not go to a home with another young puppy, under vaccinated or otherwise vulnerable adult dogs. A few addition details about adopting a puppy from HSWM:- The adoption fee for puppies (8-20 weeks old) is $225.- All puppies will come with at least their first dose of the Distemper/Parvo combo vaccine (DA2PP). This is a series of vaccines and all puppies under 20 weeks/5 months of age will require booster vaccines to ensure they are fully protected. Once they have completed the series, this becomes an annual vaccine.- Puppies also receive a Bordetella (Kennel Cough) vaccine when they enter our care, as well as an initial dose of dewormer. -Puppies need to be at least 12 weeks of age to receive a Rabies vaccine. If a puppy is too young to receive this vaccine prior to adoption, adopters will be sent with a $15 vaccine voucher that can be taken to a primary veterinarian. This is included in the adoption fee.-All puppies will be microchipped prior to adoption, and we automatically register that microchip when we process an adoption.-All puppies will be spayed or neutered prior to adoption. Story
I got this beautiful baby during the pandemic right before needing to put down my childhood dog. She has been a good companion and loving friend. I moved to Chicago and have experienced housing issues. My parents agreed to take her for a short time but I have not had any success with housing. They can't handle her as they are aging, and she needs a new home. She is in MT. She has been around kids, cats, birds, dogs both male and female since she was young. She is very social and loves attention. Heard cuddles. Needs a loving home.
