Story
Timber is a stunning brindle mastiff/ Great Dane mix who absolutely adores people! He has a goofy personality to him that lights up the room. His foster says he likes everyone he meets and can’t get enough back scratches. He loves to run and play and would enjoy having a fenced in yard or a family that is active. Timber is great with children, he doesn’t know he’s a big boy so older children may be best for him. He thinks he’s a lap dog and will cuddle with as long as you want. Timber does prefer to be the only dog because he loves his people so much. Timber would be an amazing addition to your family and being nothing but love and laughter and sloppy kisses. Timber Is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Please fill out an application at www.northboundrescue.com

Story
LOCAL TN ADOPTION ONLY. The good.....He is kennel trained. Goes in very easily with treats. Will run right in if a treat is thrown in there. Will bark for a few minutes but settles. If he’s in a crate, in a room alone and he hears a lot of commotion, he will bark. If you’ve left and the house is quiet, he’s quiet. He’s great in the kennel if someone is in the same room with him though. He likes being with his people. He happily snoozes in an open kennel during the day if you’re working from home and the kennel is near your work area.Scooby is a goof! There’s not much he takes too seriously. Besides treats. Treats are serious business! He will do just about anything for a treat. Even stuff he really doesn’t want to do. But treats are life. He’s overall an easy dog that is sweet, happy, cuddly and isn’t overly energetic. He loves playing and is a bulldozer but he relaxes and naps a lot too. He doesn’t require mass amounts of exercise. He is more than happy to lounge around in bed and watch tv with his humans. The bad...He snores. It’s not quiet...He hates small dogs, if your neighbor has one he will make it his life"s mission to eradicate it. He is generally good on a leash until aforementioned small dog walks up, then he will happily chill with you while you recover from your rotator cuff repair. LOCAL ADOPTION ONLY IN TN.The Adoption Fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea, Tick and Heartworm Treatment and Prevention, and Sheltering. Story
Molly is an awesome girl. She is 22 months of amazing. Lots of energy, super sweet, super gentle, super snuggler, goofy, loves people and great in the car. She loves walks, hikes and car rides!. Also loves to hang out on the couch or play with her toys. She is crate trained but prefers the couch, non-destructive and not food protective. She is fully vetted, 125 lbs and healthy. She still is learning her manners, she is good on a leash but better on a no pull harness. She is still a puppy and large one at that. She needs someone with patience, Danes are sensitive but the best dogs ever. I adopted her from Michigan in December of 2023 as a companion for myself, family and our aging mastiff Marley. Unfortunately, Marley is dog aggressive and has gone after her. I have had to keep both dogs separate at all times and its really taking its toll. Molly loves other dogs but fears ours so it's not healthy for her long term. She is trained on the invisible fence. She is truly a great dog!!
