Story
Meet Rhett! This sweet and big pup may be a little shy when you first meet him, but once he's comfortable, his affectionate and loving side shines through. He would love to explore the world at his own pace, sniffing out adventures and building confidence alongside a compassionate adopter. Rhett may also enjoy having a calm and friendly doggy sibling with a similar playstyle and temperament to help show him the ropes and to learn from. If you're looking for a gentle-hearted companion who just needs a little time to bloom, Rhett might be the perfect match. Come meet him at the Edmonton Humane Society.https://youtu.be/h40XcRjI-d4 Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 27.7 Age: 0yrs 6mths 1wks

**Chester is in the process of being adopted!**Age: 6 yearsWeight: 51.5 kgA little bit about Chester: - kids unknown - cats / small animals unknown - limited information on living with other dogs, potential for select other dog in home pending successful dog-to-dogBig loveable Chester is ready to make his debut! A pup with a hard past, it can take him a little to warm up and show his sweet, gentle side. But be prepared as he is an expert snuggler and loves to get all of the pets! And with all of his fur, extra grooming will be important to keep Chester looking his best; luckily he also loves to be brushed! Chester is the type of dog that likes to take lots of breaks on walks to stop and smell the roses and greet every person that he sees, and is looking for someone that is okay with a slower pace to life. Although he`s lived with other dogs before, it`s unknown what it looked like in the home, so a dog-to-dog would be needed to determine if he would do okay with your resident canine companion! So come say hello to Chester today and fall in love with this giant teddy bear today!

Story
Cash is a Great Pyrenees / Red heeler mix! We adopted Cash when he was about 5 months old. We did lots of training with him, he went to the farm with my husband and stayed in the house with me. He is super lovable & sweet, loves treats, loves to chase squirrels and has lots of energy to burn. It was all good until our daughter came around 4 months ago he became overly protective. He nipped several people who came too close to her. He never really bit anyone but we don’t want his behavior to get worse. We did training with him but it’s been too hard to keep him for us. We have a small house & yard and he really needs a farm or acreage where he can run! He knows a whole lot of commands, is housetrained, can walk on a leash and will be perfect for on an acreage or farm without kids.

Story
Quick Facts  Name: Sangguen Age: 3 years old  Gender: Male Neutered/Spayed: Yes Breed: Great Pyrenees/Jindo Mix Color: White My PersonalityIntroducing Sanggeun, our lovable furry friend! This charming pup is a people-person through and through—ready to soak up all the pets and attention from anyone, including strangers! However, when it comes to little ones, sudden movements and loud noises can startle him a bit. If children are calm and gentle, he’s happy to hang out. Although he’s not a fan of being carried or lifted up, he’s a big fan of canine companions, especially smaller or similar-sized dogs. He’s a true protector, but only when needed—stepping up if other dogs are too rowdy or aggressive. Birds? Squirrels? They definitely catch his eye during walks, but with a bit of leash training, he’s working on his focus. Energy and ActivitiesIn terms of energy, he’s got the perfect balance—loving outdoor adventures but a total zen master indoors. While he might tug a little on walks, once he settles, he’s an excellent leash follower. Busy streets can be overwhelming, so quieter spots are more his style. Training and HabitsNo guarding resources from people, but he might issue a gentle growl if other dogs get too close. When it’s time to travel, he prefers a cozy crate in the car—helping ease those nerves and avoiding any car sickness. One thing’s for sure—he’s a potty pro outdoors only! Basic commands like sit, stay, paw, and eye contact? Nailed it! And did we mention he’s a sucker for ice cubes?
