Story
Aiden is a sweet and energetic Pyrenees mix puppy whose estimated DOB is 6/19/2024 and on 12/30/2024 he weighed in at 54.5 pounds. He is a Pyrenees mix so he will be a large dog. Though it may take some treats and a few minutes, once he warms up, Aiden is as affectionate as he is adorable! He gets along with some other dogs, so we recommend a dog meet prior to adoption, and should not go to a home with cats. He will chase a ball and probably not bring it back, but you can have fun teaching him how to fetch properly! He is puppy playful with a side of snuggle bug. Come et Aiden today and give him the loving home he deserves! Our adoption fee is $125 for small breed dogs under 20 pounds and $100 for all other dogs and cats unless otherwise noted in their bio. Every pet available for adoption is current on shots spayed/neutered, and microchipped. You may submit an application online for pre-approval and to set an appointment or you can visit the shelter Wednesday - Sunday from 11am - 5pm. Please note that the kennels close for pet viewing at 4:30pm.

Story
Meet Willow, a gentle 2.5-year-old Great Pyrenees weighing in at about 86 pounds, who’s ready to steal your heart! Fully microchipped, spayed, and up-to-date on vaccines and preventions, Willow is a loving girl with a playful spirit. She adores chasing squirrels and birds, and while she loves a game of fetch, she might just decide to keep the ball for herself! Soft and affectionate, she delights in hugs and kisses from her humans. Although she gets a bit nervous around the iRobot and fireworks—often running inside to hide—she’s a brave and resilient girl at heart. Willow has been thriving in a lively foster home with her Golden Retriever brothers, and she’s very protective of her 4-year-old human sister while remaining curious about her 1-year-old sister. House trained and crate trained, Willow will let you know when she needs to go outside with a gentle bark. While she’s still discovering her preferences with other female dogs and isn’t a fan of cats, she’s a true treat-lover—eating treats delicately from your hand—and she even knows how to sit on command! Having completed her heartworm treatment and finishing up her crate rest, Willow’s new adopter will receive 12 months of Heartgard to keep her healthy and heartworm-free. If you’re looking for a devoted, playful, and protective companion, Willow is ready to bring love and joy to your home. Adopt Willow today and let her light up your life! $200 Local Adoption Fee (in Texas) $450 Out of State Adoption Fee (includes transport to your area)

Story
Meet Valentine! ❤️ Valentine got her name because she was rescued on Valentine’s Day—a true symbol of love and second chances! She was found living in a junkyard with the help of a kind-hearted Good Samaritan, but now she’s safe, warm, and thriving. This sweet girl adores stuffed toys and belly rubs and is great with other dogs and kids. She’s a little shy at first but quickly warms up with love and patience. Valentine is learning to walk on a leash and working on potty training like a champ. Special Note: Due to her time in the junkyard, Valentine has a few hairless spots. While we’re hopeful her fur will grow back, the vet mentioned that some follicles might be permanently damaged. But that just makes her even more special! Valentine is ready for a forever home filled with love—could that be with you? Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Sugar is a super sweet name for an incredibly sweet giant white floof of a love bug. This gentle giant would rather cuddle than eat. 💕. Found as a stray with her hair matted down to the skin, she is growing out her stunning white coat and putting back on some needed weight. Great Pyrenees are renowned for being excellent family dogs, guardians of children, other pets, & livestock. Sugar is no exception. At only 1 year old, she is still goofy & playful, and not all that coordinated when she runs & puppy pounces. She is an absolute joy to have around. She would do best in a home where her people are around her most of the time as she doesn’t like to be alone. Do you have room in your heart & home for this delightful fluffy cuddler? Attributes: Great on a leash Crate trained, but doesn’t enjoy the crate A Velcro dog Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Sugar showed up on our farm right before a big storm, and has been enjoying tagging along while we look for a permanent home for her. She is malleable girl, she loves to run and play with our two Shepherds but she’ll cuddle on the couch for hours. We are unsure of her age but she has grown some, we estimate 8-10 months, as she has not had her first heat cycle yet and is intact. Sugar is showing some attachment behavior, I belive she would do well in a home with another young dog or with an active owner.

Story
Born January 1, 2024 Our Sadie is my daughter’s dog, who she promised she would take care of, and she hasn’t, and she’s leaving earlier for college than we initially thought, starting in a few weeks. Sadie loves to play with our pointer, who is a big lug, but she loves Rocky. Bernese Mountain Dogs are one of the best friends a person could have, especially for children. We need to rehome her as soon as possible and thought we’d check with the dog people we know in our search for her new home. We aren’t from here and don’t know a lot of people here locally. She is probably 40-ish pounds, is AMAZING with kids of all ages (we have 5 kids ages 3-19 and she is great with all of them). She has a very gentle temperament. Although she has been kept inside to sleep, she loves being outside during the day.
