Story
Meet Linus, a fun-loving, goofy, and bouncy Great Pyrenees who weighs in at over 100 lbs of pure fluffy joy and energy! Linus is a wonderful companion, but because of his size and unique needs, breed experience is required to ensure he thrives in the right home. His new family will need to understand the traits, diet, and behavior of this amazing breed and appreciate his big heart (and big size)! Linus is looking for a forever home as a beloved petnot a farm or working dog. If you're ready to offer him the love and attention he deserves, he cant wait to meet you!IMPORTANT NOTE:Due to his size, we reccomend no small children. He would do best as a solo dog, but could live with another dog with a slow introduction.Once again - BREED EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Lady is an 8 year old Great Pyrenees(DNA tested) that was adopted 4 years ago by a great supporter and friend to GRRSWF. Unfortuately, her owner has to change her housing situation due to medical issues. The good news is that Lady has been very well cared for and spoiled with love. Lady weighs 85lbs and is a young 8. She does not show signs of aging. She is happy, gentle and easy going. She would love a fenced yard and a dog friend. She has not been tested with cats.  Here are some notes from her owner-   There is something in her past before I got her, that triggers something when she sees someone on a bicycle, e-bike, motorcycle or loud car. She gets very vocal (barks and growls) and wants to chase after it. She also does NOT like to be medicated! She is a Great Pyr that wants to be in control, and fights sedation.  She doesn't like to get her nails trimmed with a dremel, but does OK with a clipper. Her back double dew claws need trimming about once/month. She likes to bark, she's very strong so if leash walking will be her form of exercise, she'll need someone younger and strong. 99.9% of the time, she walks great on a leash. She makes everyone smile. She's friendly, happy, and just seems to love life. She is easy to take care of in that she's never destroyed/chewed anything in the house, she's never eaten anything that wasn't given to her, she has never gone potty inside (she held her bladder for 24 hours during hurricane Ian!), she doesn't bark to go out, or to eat, she gets along with all the other dogs she's met, and will not usually pester you for attention unless she's trying to "tell you" something. She would make an awesome Pet Therapy dog (kids LOVE her!).   FIREWORKS- She get very nervous and after hearing them doesn't want to go outside after dark for about 2 weeks as she knows they usualy go off after dark. She is not very food motivated for training; but loves praise and positive reinforcement. She also loves to see me get excited or happy. Because she is a "guardian" dog, she tends to be very focused on her surroundings and can be hard to keep her attention. Story
Denver is an adorable and loving 16-month-old pup. Believe it or not, he's 33% Great Pyrenees, even though he doesn't look it. Denver is SUPER friendly. He recently spent a bit of time at our veterinary clinic following routine surgery, and EVERYONE fell in love with him. No one wanted him to leave! He's also very playful. In fact, sometimes he's downright silly. When he's out in the fenced-in yard at our west Bradenton facility, he loves to zoom around, grabbing anything and everything he can get to and carrying his prize(s) off in his mouth. If you're interested in Denver, please contact us and we'll get back to you within a day. Our adoption process involves a foster period ((to make sure the "fit" is good) and home visits, so we're looking for a family in Bradenton or Sarasota (Florida).

Story
Great Pyrenees dogs (even those who are only 62% GP) don't get more beautiful than Zoey. She immediately captured the heart of our west Bradenton caretaker, who would be adopting her if she didn't already have a number of dogs. Zoey is about 3 years old. We weren't told much else about her when she was surrendered, but we've concluded that she's deaf. So she can be timid and fearful until she becomes familiar with her environment and the people and animals in it. If she isn't pressured, she eventually becomes more trusting. Our adoption process involves a foster period to make certain the family and the dog are a good "fit," and this will be important for Zoey. Zoey gets along with our other dogs, and she lived with cats before we acquired her, but she's also content to be alone. We're looking for a patient adopter who can develop a close bond with Zoey, take special steps to communicate effectively with her, and keep her comfortable and safe for the rest of her life. If you're interested in Zoey, please contact us and we''ll get back to you within a day. Since our adoption process involves a foster period (as indicated above) and home visits, we're looking for a family in Bradenton or Sarasota (Florida).

Story
I got my puppy from a woman in near Arcadia. She is almost a year old, her birthday is in March. She’s needs a loving home with people who will tend to her every hour of the day. She’s a wonderful dog, she definitely has a goofy personality. She loves doing the zoomies after a bath. She’s one of the best dogs I’ve had.
