Story
Blue is a Great Pyrenees that came from a hoarding situation. He has been with us for six months now and everyone at OFSARNOF just loves him! He is a leaner and loves attention and just wants to be around people. He has his quirk of sometimes resource guarding so needs someone who understands the breed and can handle a very large dog but this dog is so worth the time and effort! He gets along with dogs as long as there isn't food/treats around and is great with cats, chickens, sheep etc however he cannot be a successful livestock guardian dog due to his wanting to always be with his people. Great farm dog otherwise!

Story
Meet Maeby! Maybe Maeby will be your next best friend! We found Maeby in the street and were unable to locate her original people, so we thought that she could stay with us until she found a new home. Maeby plays well with our labs (two spayed females) and our male Great Pyrenees. She also likes to spend time with our horse and sheep. Maeby's very favorite thing is to be pet, preferably for 16-24 hours a day, and to go for walks, but a close follow up is to sing on-pitch with the emergency sirens. Maeby's favorite people are the elderly, but she also loves kids and, well, pretty much anyone that will pet her. We think Maeby was alone for a while, because we had to teach her to respect fences and she's also very good at hunting squirrels. However, we think that maybe Maeby had some challenges in the past, because she it takes her a while to feel comfortable in new environments. She also REALLY hates the vet, but we manage that with meds.

Story
Mak – big & bold, 3 year old, male Anatolian Shepherd. Owner can no longer keep due to domestic situation. Mak is current on vaccinations but is not neutered. He is good with other large dogs and kids 6+. He can be slow to warm up to adults, but comes around if not ‘pressed’ into it. Like most Anatolian's he is very protective of his people and yard. Mak is crate trained, and finds them comforting. He is house trained & lets you know when he needs to go out. He also knows some tricks, like sit, speak, whisper, shake, and lay down. He needs a stable home with a fenced in big yard to run and play. Mak walks well on a short leash, he doesn't bark or lunge at ppl walking by. PLEASE NOTE: To be considered for this dog you MUST have prior GSD/Guardian dog experience. Vet check and a home with securely fenced yard required – NO EXCEPTIONS ! NO cats, small dogs or kids under 6. NO calls please, email only. Adoption Donation: $150.
