Story
Kevin is a very loving boy. He turned 3 in May 2024. He is best fit for a farm or a large fenced yard. Please read up on traits of a Great Pyrenees before inquiring. He will run any chance he gets and he sheds quite a bit. He is also an alpha male. My daughter brought him home as a puppy and wasn’t aware of the maintenance and care of a Great Pyrenees. We have tried to make it work, but now my daughter has a 9 month old baby and Kevin is not getting the care he needs. We will keep Kevin as long as it takes until we find the right fit for him. We LOVE him, but he needs so much more than we can give him.

Story
Merlin is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian.Merlin is a Great Pyrenees mix. Merlin was rescued from southern Indiana. He cowered, flinched at every movement and was too scared to take a treat. He has come a long way however loud noises and yelling still scare him. Merlin is not a farm dog. He is lethal to birds. Songbirds he pay no attention to but everything thing else. He's good with kids. Fine with other dogs, but he does want to be in charge. He is always excited to be fed and is very food motivated. We feed all dogs separately. He's mostly house trained. He seems fine with our cats, but they have minimal interactions. He can walk on a leashIf you would like to inquire into adopting this pet, PLEASE EMAIL cmestell@gmail.com***Please ignore the Apply to Adopt button for this pet & contact the owner directly***

Please read entire description. Scout's adoption fee is $175.  Scout is a 1 year old Pyr/Border Collie / Cattle Dog mix. He is house trained and very friendly and sweet. His favorite toy is his Jolly Ball and his favorite treats are carrots. Scout is used to a fenced yard and is good with children. Scout has no experience with cats. He has lived with another dog since he was born, but he has started to pick on him which is ultimately the reason Scout must find a new home. He would likely be best as an only dog.  Scout HATES to be in crates, but does ok in a mudroom.  Scout is heartworm negative, utd on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. Apply for Scout at pawswapofgreaterlafayette.com/adopting. Adoption fee is $175 ##1683080##
