Hi there! I'm Asher, 100lbs of fur and I'm looking for a forever home. Some things about me...Clearly, I'm a handsome boy, But I'm also sweet as can be. I've never met a man, woman or child I didn't immediately love. I'd prefer to be next to you always. I am a gentle giant who loves nothing more than spending time with my people. I'm a total lap dog at heart and will happily snuggle up with you on the couch for hours on end. I'm a great companion for families or individuals looking for a loyal and loving friend. I'd love a big back yard to roam and a daily walk. I look forward to playing with other dogs, too. I'm almost fully house trained but can be tempted by indoor plants at my foster home, so please allow me outside on the regular. (Nobody's perfect). I have gone through heartworm treatment thanks to Lucky 13. I will next need see an orthopedic surgeon. I have a bum front leg that was caught in some barbed wire years ago that was never properly cared for. The vets initial thoughts are I will need a half leg amputation. Don't let this scare you away! There are lots of tripods out there living their best lives. Asher is only available through our foster to adopt program. (Must live within 60 miles of Kansas City). Zena is a 3 year old, 70 lb Great Pyrenees mix, who came to us when her owner died, and the family wasn't able to take her in due to their own animals and kids. Zena is housetrained, and kennel trained. When she loves, she loves you so so much. She is more on the shy side, and will need an experienced adopter who will be able to work with Zena so that she can live her best life. Zena did go to doggy playgroups and was unsocialized with other dogs. If you would like to meet Zena, come to the main campus today!Zena is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Her ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED! We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possible. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.

Andre was born December 11, 2021. We met both of his parents on a farm in MO - and we took him home at 8-weeks old. His parents were protectors for the farm's family goats. He's about 100 pounds at 2 1/2 yo. At about 8-months old he displayed some guarding aggressive behavior that we hoped was only food related. He was socialized around kiddos, other dogs, and friends. And he got along perfectly with our elderly Havanese. We had hoped that these intermittent aggression issues were due to him not yet being neutered, but after his surgery things did not improve. He has aggressive bite behavior towards people other than us in the house, and he recently attacked our Havanese. We realized we have to draw the line somewhere and admit that we do not have the means to train him or give him land and a purpose that he so much deserves. He is currently very loving in our home to us - and we are praying that someone with experience with his breed or otherwise is looking to be his angel.

We think he's a Great Pyrenees mix, which means he's got some livestock guardian dog in him and explains why he might be a tad dog selective. Jimmy was removed for neglect from his previous home so the next home needs to be his perfect home. Mallow is just like how she got her name, Marshmallow. She is super sweet on the inside and white and fluffy on the outside. She loves to cuddle and be outside. She will come inside through dog door when she is hot or cold. Absolutely loves peanut butter! Mallow is an amazing fur baby that will be a great addition for a family. We are extremely sad to rehome but must due to move and area not allowing dogs as well as no yard which is not a happy life for Mallow.
