Story
Sadly we have decided to rehome our boy Duke. He is 4 years old. He loves all other dogs, cats and rabbits. He has been around both horse and chickens and never had an issue. He is house trained but heavily favors being outdoors no matter the weather. We have decided to rehome for two reasons. We have a reactive older dog that really doesnt e being around other dogs so it has been a challenge keeping them separated over the last couple of years. We are rehoming in order to reduce the stress surrounding that issue. As for children, Duke has only ever known being around kids, infants-teenage. He has recently become very protective of the kids, from reacting when the neighbors are out to taking longer than usual to be okay with friends and family stopping over. Would love to find him a home with a fenced yard and even some animals to protect. He prefers to be outdoors which has been hard with our neighbors being so close by. This has been a hard decision, he deserves better.

Story
Introducing Bagheera, affectionately known as Baggie or Goofy Girl! She's a lively lady, brimming with enthusiasm, and here are some insights into her likesand dislikes. Bagheera loves the thrill of zoomies, relishing tasty snacks, frolicking in thesnow, and basking in the limelight as the center of attention. However, she's not so fondof birds and butterflies, sharing her treasures, or finding empty treat containers. If you're considering becoming Bagheera's forever companion, here's the ideal matchfor her:- A 'seasoned' owner: Bagheera tends to be protective of what she considers herpossessions, so an owner with extensive experience in managing resource guardingand working with dogs exhibiting behavioral quirks is a must. She's not suited forfirst-time dog owners.- A spacious home environment: This large and in-charge lady needs room to roam andstretch her legs.- Limited guests: Bagheera may need some time to warm up and adapt to new peopleand situations, so a home with fewer visitors would be best.- Daily Brain and Body exercise: Bagheera is brimming with energy, so be prepared foran active companion who will keep you on your toes!- No felines, canines, or tiny humans, please: Bagheera's ideal home doesn't includeother pets or small children.Bagheera is a fantastic, delightfully fun, and sweet girl who's on the lookout for her newbest friend. Could that friend be you? For any further inquiries or to meet Bagheera inperson, please don't hesitate to contact us here at BHS.

This sweet girl is searching for a family who understands her big personality and is ready to give her the love she deserves. Topaz has so much to offer! Loves people of all ages: Topaz adores everyone, from kids to adults. Her enthusiasm is unmatched! Housebroken and well-mannered at home: Relax, knowing accidents won't be a problem, and she can be trusted when left alone. Car ride enthusiast: Topaz is your perfect adventure buddy, always ready for a road trip. Dog-friendly but needs slow, structured introductions: Topaz is a playful gal whose excited barks might initially sound a little startling. Working on her leash manners: This strong girl pulls, but it's her only real flaw! With continued training, she'll be a walking champ. She's just so excited to be out in the world. Bred to be around animals! Topaz has been introduced to a small flock of sheep. She started out excited around them but settled around them eventually. She hasn't given up hope that she'll win them over. Does your family have the patience to help Topaz shine? Story
Jack is an 8th month old Pyradoodle. He was surrendered by his family because he became too much for them. Jack is an active goofy puppy. Like any puppy, he needs some consistent training. He is crate trained, housebroken and gets along great with other dogs. He would due best with kids teenage up only because he’s hyperactive and jumps up. Jack can be mouthy by grabbing hands and feet with his mouth. He did fine with the cats in his prior home. His leash walking could use some work. Jack’s hair is crazy long and would have to be kept up by a groomer, so it doesn’t get matted. Adoption fee is $450 If you do not hear from us within 7 days please email passion4petsrescue@gmail.com

Story
Meet Theodore “Teddy” Bear! Teddy is 1–2-year-old Golden mix who weighs in at a dainty 68 pounds. For a Pyrenees/golden he’s definitely pocket sized! Teddy was found on a particularly hot July day trying to shop at Dillard’s department store in Memphis. He is the friendliest of pups, so he had no problem greeting customers with his big brown eyes and docile personality. Teddy got his name because he is, in fact, a giant teddy bear. He loves nothing more than sitting his giant head in your lap to show you that he has the softest ears and cutest freckles. He enjoys cuddling with everyone. Teddy loves all people and all dogs. He has not been tested with cats, but we are guessing he could probably care less. He enjoys watching guard over the house, but also loves to fall into a deep nap with a delightful grumble. If Teddy sang karaoke, it would be something chill from Dave Matthews Band or Rusted Root. His vibe is 100% mellow, and he would love his own people (and probably dog siblings). Teddy is a very smart boy who is housetrained (never an accident in the house) and heartworm negative. Transport is an additional $185. https://forms.gle/APKvbgFJcaRvgKgk9
