Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Ozzy – 1.5-Year-Old Classic Great Pyrenees Ozzy is a 1.5-year-old, sweet, playful, and lovable Classic Great Pyrenees looking for his forever home. While he is full of energy and absolutely adores people, Ozzy does have some specific needs that require an experienced owner who can provide the time, patience, and training he deserves. About Ozzy: Personality: Ozzy is a fun, bouncy, and affectionate boy who loves to cuddle and will happily climb into your lap for attention. He is very people-oriented and forms strong bonds with those he trusts. Training: Ozzy knows basic commands such as "sit," "leave it," and "paw." He is highly trainable and eager to please, but due to his reactivity to other dogs, he will need continued training and socialization to help build his confidence. Other Pets: Ozzy requires a home where he is the only dog. He is reactive to other dogs and lacks confidence in social situations, so he needs a calm, quiet environment to work on his behavior. He may be open to a puppy in the future once he has built more confidence, but at this time, a single-dog household is necessary. He is not recommended for homes with cats or farm animals. Crate Training: Ozzy is good in his crate and does well with structure. What Ozzy Needs: An experienced owner who can help him through training and provide a consistent, positive environment. A home with no other dogs for now, as he will require time and patience to work on his reactivity. Someone who is committed to continuing his socialization and building his confidence through positive reinforcement. If you're an experienced dog owner and ready to give Ozzy the time, attention, and training he needs, he could be the perfect addition to your family. He’s a sweet, fun-loving boy who just needs the right environment to thrive!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 20, 2025, 11:47 pm

Akeelah is a 3-year-old bundle of love, joy, and endless affection! After a rocky start in life, she’s finally ready for a new chapter. Here’s a bit about her: &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Akeelah was raised in an apartment with kids for her first 9 months, so she knows how to be a family dog! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 She absolutely LOVES attention – she’ll jump for joy and lean into you when you pet her. She’s a cuddler at heart and just wants to be near you. Not great with cats – she prefers to be the center of your world, not sharing the spotlight with felines! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Her previous owners didn't treat her well, and sadly abandoned her, but the good news is she's now safe, getting the care she needs, and is ready for a loving home. Akeelah is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and eager for a new adventure. She’s been getting lots of TLC and guidance, and it’s clear she just craves affection and companionship. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Birdie - Your Future Best Friend! Birdie is a sweet, 1-year-old Great Pyrenees mix who has had a rough start but is now making strides toward a brighter future. She was surrendered back to the breeder, who didn't want her either, and spent most of her early life contained in a chicken coop. But don’t let that tough beginning fool you—Birdie has a heart of gold and is ready to embrace a life full of love, training, and playtime! Although she came to us with zero training, Birdie is making amazing progress in her foster home. She's quickly learning basic commands like “sit” and “leave it” and is getting the hang of house training. She learned within just one day that pottying inside is a no-no, but a little patience will be needed if she transitions to a new home, as she may need a refresher. Birdie is also working on crate training and getting comfortable with her safe space. While she’s still a bit of a curious puppy, she’s adjusting well and loves getting attention from her foster family. However, if left alone, she could be a bit destructive, so she’ll need an adopter or foster who is ready to work with her on these behaviors and help her grow into the well-behaved companion we know she can be. Birdie has been spayed, and she’ll be ready for her forever home after she heals up. She was originally raised with cats, so we were hopeful that she’d get along with the cats in her foster home. With patience, training, and love, we believe she could learn to live peacefully with feline friends, just like she did before. Birdie is good with both male and female dogs as long as there are slow introductions. She’s a social girl and enjoys the company of other dogs, but a careful and gradual introduction will help her feel comfortable and build those positive relationships. Birdie is sweet, loving, and eager to please, but she needs someone who is ready to invest in training and help her overcome the puppy challenges she’s facing. She also does well in the car, making her the perfect travel companion on your next adventure! She does require a 6-foot fence to keep her safe and secure, as she’s still learning the boundaries of her new world. If you’re ready to work with a sweet girl who’s eager to learn and grow, Birdie might just be the perfect match for you! Stay tuned for her availability after her spay surgery on January 16th. If you think you can give Birdie the patience, love, and guidance she needs, reach out to us today!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 20, 2025, 11:47 pm

Meet Archie, a brave and gentle Great Pyrenees mix who’s ready to start a new chapter in life! Archie’s journey hasn’t been an easy one, but this resilient boy is now on the mend and eager to find a family that will give him all the love he deserves. Archie was pulled from a high-kill shelter in California after being hit by a car. When we first rescued him, he showed some pain-related aggression due to his injuries. But since being away from the shelter and given the care he needed, he’s made a full recovery and hasn’t exhibited any of that behavior since. He’s a sweet, calm guy who is now ready to move forward and find a forever family! What Makes Archie Special: A Survivor: Archie’s resilience speaks volumes about his spirit. After being through so much, he’s come out the other side stronger, ready to trust, and full of love. Sweet & Affectionate: He’s a gentle giant who loves to be around people and enjoys his car rides. He’s calm and well-behaved, making him a perfect companion for your travels. Good with Other Dogs: Archie gets along well with both male and female dogs. He’s still learning about his new world, but he’s shown that he can coexist peacefully with other dogs and is always up for a play session or nap. Cat Testing This Week: We’re still getting to know Archie and will be testing him with cats this week, so stay tuned for updates! Archie is currently being fostered in Big Fork, MT, and once he’s neutered, he’ll be ready for adoption! He’s up to date on his vaccinations, but his neuter surgery is the final step before he can go home with his forever family. Archie is looking for a patient, loving home where he can continue to heal and thrive. He deserves a family who will provide him with the care, support, and love that will make him feel safe and cherished. If you’re looking for a big, sweet boy who’s ready to give all his love, Archie just might be the perfect fit for you! We can’t wait for him to find his forever home and show you how much love he’s got to offer!
