Story
Hiiii. Zuko is our 9 y/o Great Pyrenees mix that we have had since a puppy. He’s a true gentle giant and just the sweetest 150 pounds of fluff. Potty trained. Great with kids and other pets. Loves walks and being outside. With the recent passing of my family member that has been helping take care of him, and me working 12 hour shifts. I have come to the tough decision to rehome this precious boy during his golden years. Would love to find a home with a fenced backyard or land.

Story
Winston is one of originally 7 puppies, born June 2 to a dumped mother dog in Oklahoma, who also happened to be deaf. Some good samariatans took them in just prior to the mom giving birth and made room for them. Once the puppies were 2 weeks old, they had put a plea out for a rescue to take them so when our rescue saw the plea, we made the decision to get them transported to Nebraska, which is where they are now. Winston is now neutered and UTD on shots, aside from rabies, which needs to be done when he is older. Winston is a happy, healthy boy and loves to snuggle on your lap and melt into you. He loves to play with his sibings as well but definitely all these puppies love being held and loved by their humans. They were raised at one of our fosters farms and they were well taken care of so all of them are really great when it comes to their "self-esteem." The great pyrenees in them gives them the calmer personality but they definitely all want to play and tire out fairly quickly. Winston is such a good boy and although he is not potty trained yet, he does great knowing to do his buisiness outside as long as he is on the right feeding schedule and alotted consistent times to go outside. If you're interested in this adorable boy, please fill out an adoption application.

Story
Bia is a Great Pyrenees/ German Shepherd mix born on 1/13/2023. She was found in Texas with approximately 50 other dogs who had been left to fend for themselves. Bia was the lone survivor of her litter and with the help of various rescue partners, she made her way to Nebraska to start her new life! Bia loves outdoor adventures and will do great with an active owner or family. She likes kids but doesn't always understand her size and when she jumps it can be intimidating. Bia gets nervous around new people and recently had a hard time with a stranger in her house so we recommend an experienced owner with a training plan to help her overcome her fears and reactivity. She gets along with other dogs and doesn't mind playing rough. We think she would do great with having a "job" or skill such as agility training to keep her body and mind active. She is potty trained, kennel trained, and knows a couple of basic commands. The suggested adoption fee for Bia is $365. Bullies-N-Beyond ResQ Inc. is a 501(c)3, non-profit corporation that is 100% volunteer operated. Adoption donation fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. All dogs adopted through BNBR will have been administered their age appropriate vaccines which may include DHPP, Rabies, Lepto and Bordetella. All dogs will also be adopted out as already altered if of age, for those not of age, a voucher will be provided. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. BNBR does not adopt on a first serve basis. All available dogs are adopted based on their needs to provide the best fit home. ##1689628##

Story
Meet Rosa, an Australian shepherd-blue heeler mix, born in March 2015. She is house trained, kennel trained, cat friendly and knows a few commands, including: sit, stay and lay down. Rosa seems okay with school-aged children, and even though she lived with another dog previously, we think she would enjoy being an only dog. She is playful and enjoys her squeaky toys, but overall has a lower energy level. Her foster mom describes her as loyal, sweet and protective. Rosa respects boundaries, like the kitchen, and will only enter when given permission. Two of her favorite things in life include going for walks and riding in the car. She’s had some training in the past and we’re willing to pay for additional sessions, especially if we can find an adopter who lives in or near Lincoln. Rosa is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm tested and weighs 49 lbs. Our suggested adoption donation for Rosa is $200 and our life-time support option is included.
