Story
Deja is amazing in a home environment; she is very calm and loves spending time on the couch. She will paw at people for attention and belly rubs. She gets along very well with cats, and is very gentle and will mind her own business. She will be most comfortable in a home without children, as she is very nervous and reactive to quick movements. She can also be uncomfortable if someone she doesn't know well invades her space. We have been working on leash training with Deja, and she has improved quite a bit, although she can be reactive towards other dogs, and sometimes towards children.

Rescued from a high-kill shelter at just 2-3 months old, Dori is grateful for a second chance at life. Thanks to his caring rescuer and foster family, he's grown into a happy, well-adjusted puppy without any lingering traumas. About Him/Her This handsome fella is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and eager to find his forever home. Dori is an affectionate dog who adores his humans. Although he was initially scared of loud noises, he's learned that there's nothing to fear and now enjoys his walks without a single startle. Dori is a playful guy who absolutely loves toys, especially balls, squeaky toys, and tug-of-war ropes. He's currently living with a smaller dog and feels right at home playing with his little canine friend. One of Dori's best qualities is that he doesn't suffer from separation anxiety. He's perfectly content being alone for up to 8 hours, knowing his humans will return. Plus, he's potty trained! Living with a small dog, Dori is very gentle, curious, and always follows his buddy around, staying nearby. His foster mom works at an animal hospital, so Dori has met multiple animals, including cats and birds. He hasn't shown any prey instincts so far, making him a great companion for a variety of pets. Dori is a loving, playful, and gentle dog ready to bring joy to his new family. If you're looking for a loyal friend who loves toys and gets along well with other animals, Dori might just be the perfect match for you! Story
Introducing our lovable furry friend! This charming pup is a people-person through and through—ready to soak up all the pets and attention from anyone, including strangers! However, when it comes to little ones, sudden movements and loud noises can startle him a bit. If children are calm and gentle, he's happy to hang out. Although he's not a fan of being carried or lifted up, he's a big fan of canine companions, especially smaller or similar-sized dogs. He's a true protector, but only when needed—stepping up if other dogs are too rowdy or aggressive. Birds? Squirrels? They definitely catch his eye during walks, but with a bit of leash training, he's working on his focus. In terms of energy, he's got the perfect balance—loving outdoor adventures but a total zen master indoors. While he might tug a little on walks, once he settles, he's an excellent leash follower. Busy streets can be overwhelming, so quieter spots are more his style. No guarding resources from people, but he might issue a gentle growl if other dogs get too close. When it's time to travel, he prefers a cozy crate in the car—helping ease those nerves and avoiding any car sickness. One thing's for sure—he's a potty pro outdoors only! Basic commands like sit, stay, paw, and eye contact? Nailed it! And did we mention he's a sucker for ice cubes? If you're ready to welcome this gentle giant into your heart and home, reach out to our team today to make him a part of your family! Story
Hello! My name is Buckwheat!I am an energetic, engaging and endearing male Great Pyrenees pup, from a litter of eight siblings! My sisters have all been adopted and I am just waiting my turn! If you don't already know, Great Pyrenees are a working breed, often found on farms; we are great helpers and love to have a job! A family with that has experience large, working breeds would be an asset. We are a giant breed - our weight can range from 85lbs to 160lbs - but more dog equals waaaaaaaaay more to love, right?!I am very excited to move into my new home and keep the ball rolling with my socialization. It is important that I join a family that has the time and patience to dedicate to my socialization and training, and who can handle my energy and excitement. To become a well-rounded, socialized adult, it's important I have frequent and positive interactions with new people, children, other dogs, visits to the vet clinic and other unfamiliar environments (like friends' homes and pet stores). It's also important I continue to get practice with handling and grooming so I continue to be comfortable when I am older and go for vet visits, get nail trims and receive brushing and grooming.***If you apply to adopt me, please have a certified positive-reinforcement trainer in mind to sign up for puppy socialization classes, as this will be required prior to adoption. We will also be requiring adopters to have a fenced yard or a farm property, to make sure that my outdoor access and exercise needs can be met. ***If you are interested in adopting me, please click the "Adopt Me" button to complete an application.
