Meet Tyberious! This handsome pup came to us in November 2023 and is looking for a patient home that will continue teaching him that the world and new people are not so scary! There is reason to believe that Tyberious was not treated the kindest in his previous home and will need to go into a home where only positive reinforcement training is used and where the people in his home can provide a structured environment for him to continue building his confidence. In his time with us, Tyberious has been very neutral and curious about other animals. He pays no mind to the other dogs in the kennel and has been friendly with with the office cats he has met! He is a very smart and food-motivated dog and has made a lot of progress even with his basic training since coming to us. Ty currently knows 'sit' ,'down', 'off' and is working on 'leave it' and his leash manners. There is nothing he is not willing to work on as long as he is given a treat in return! Tyberious is an extremely goofy pup once he gets comfortable with you! He is an absolute cuddle bug once he has bonded with you and wants nothing more than to snuggle He is always ready to play a game of tug whether he is lounging around with you inside or hanging around outside. Tyberious loves exploring the outdoors and going on car rides as long as he has someone there to reassure him that everything is fine. He gravitates more toward the women he has met but with patience (and treats!) does warm up to men as long as he is provided the time to get to know them. Once he has all that puppy energy out, Tyberious settles well and enjoys having a chew or Kong to entertain himself with. Squeaky toys and stuffed toys are his absolute favorite to play with and he will keep himself endlessly entertained by tossing them around or playing fetch. All this big boy wants to do is find a home where he can grow into the wonderful dog staff knows him to be! Jett is a lovely, friendly dog that we have had since he was a puppy. He was born on Halloween, 2020. He would benefit from a fenced in yard but walks well on a leash and is well house-trained. He enjoys spending time with other dogs and kids but is aggressive toward small animals such as cats or rodents. He is exceptionally smart and loves hiding his toys and treats. He would make a fantastic family dog.

Juliette currently lives in a foster home, and this is what her foster mom has to say: After being rescued from life on a chain, Juliette has shown her appreciation for the indoor life. She has great manners and is sweet and gentle. She is potty trained and has had no accidents. She has been free in the house even when we leave and no issues. She happily hops in the car and rides nicely. Also, enjoys fishing from the pontoon boat and hiking, long walks, playing in the creek, and going to the dog park. We have 2 older, smaller dogs that she mostly ignores. She has shown no interest in the cat. Juliette has been DNA tested and is 70% Great Pyrenees, but small for the breed and just under 60 lbs. She would love a fenced in yard and a friend to play with. Odin is a truly handsome, young, 88 pound, Great Pyr boy that was born 1/2/23 and is looking for a family to love and chill with. This big boy is fully grown and is the so very easy going and good natured. He was raised with his brother Thor on a country property owned by a senior lady who has come to realize that both the brothers need homes where they can be an inside dog and part of the family. She cannot provide that and so is now willing to let each one go to separate families that might have children (he loves children) and to be a part of maybe even living with other dogs or cats. He is good with everyone he meets and all creatures. This boy is not housebroken as he has never been inside for any length of time to learn the rules and the signals for potty breaks. He is a loving and easy dog to have around and we want him to become a part of a family life that offers him a big dog bed and lots of love and guidance. He is good with meeting new people and doesn’t bark excessively at all. He will bark if he is bored outside in a pen. He plays nicely and is fun and happy. Curious Civic is our most handsome freckled face, 80 lbs. Great Pyrenees mix boy that is just so laid-back guy that is just so wonderful to consider for an adoption. He has a beautiful blue eye and that could be from so many different breed mixtures that influence his good looks. This boy is under a year of age and at times can be dog selective if there is an alpha that tries to dominate him. He is just won’t take being pushed around. Most Great Pyrs will not. It is their breed and nature of the breed. He walks great on a leash, enjoys car rides and has a nice disposition that is loving and mild mannered. He would be a wonderful couch companion for watching anything YOU want on TV. Bowman, Bowman, Bowman! What a handsome boy you and what a little rascal you are at the same time. Loving, cuddly, shy, and yet outgoing when he feels secure, this handsome puppy is looking for a home to grow tall and strong within. He is a 6 month old Great Pyr/Lab mix that is 55 pounds and growing each and every day toward his goal of 70 pounds. He has the cutest freckles sprinkled across his ears and face and he has a nice soft white coat of fur. Bowman can be the typical pupster that will chew your phone charger cord if YOU the human is careless and leaves it accessible and actually any other cord that looks deliciously close or on the floor is totally in danger for a good investigative chew. He is pretty much housebroken and he is good in a fenced yard where he can just hang out and enjoy the great outdoors. He will bark for a little while after you leave him crated when leaving the house but must be crated and slowly he’s submitting to that reality. Another dog in the family would be a delight and wholehearted welcomed by Bowman. He is fine with cats, children are fun to play with (he frolics now with a neighbor 3 year old toddler) and dog parks are nothing short of “Disneyland for Dogs” in his eyes. He is pretty good on a leash and getting better daily with practice. We think a work from home or stay at home mom environment would be excellent for him and some children would be a plus, another dog a plus but neither is a necessity. Just company for Bowman is all that we are seeking. He is still polishing so much of his compliant personality. The Great Pyr persona is there deeply engrained in his soul. He would NOT be an apartment or townhouse candidate unless you can take him outside for hours daily to explore. Bowman fits in but he does have needs when he lives with you. Company is the biggest need and above all LOVE! LOTS OF LOVE AND SNUGGLE TIME.
