Story
Alright, folks, gather `round and let me introduce you to Parker. He`s a dog with a resume longer than my grocery list, and let me tell you, that`s saying something.Parker`s story is a classic tale of `life threw me a curveball, and now I`m pitching myself to you!` See, his human`s rental situation went kaput, and sadly, Parker`s new digs didn`t come with a `dog-friendly` welcome mat. But don`t you dare shed a tear! Parker`s not one to dwell. He`s more of a `spin-around-and-bark-at-the-door-till-someone-opens-it` kind of guy.Speaking of spinning, this dude`s got tricks! Sit, stay, lay down, and a full 360-degree twirl? He`s practically a canine ballerina. He`s also a pro at the `I gotta go outside!` dance, which involves a mix of enthusiastic barks and strategically placed paw taps near the door. Consider it his personal `potty alert system.`Now, Parker`s a bit of a free spirit when it comes to dining. Think of him as a canine buffet connoisseur. He likes his options open, his bowl full, and his snacking frequent. No judgment here, Parker, we`ve all been there. He`s a fan of the finer things in life, like long walks, car rides where he pretends he`s the co-pilot, and baths where he tolerates your scrubbing with the dignity of a royal corgi. And the best part? Parker comes with a built-in best friend! His buddy Shadow is his ride-or-die, his partner in crime, his... well, you get the picture. They`re a package deal of adorable chaos. So, if you`re looking for a dog who`s got personality, tricks, and a whole lot of love to give (and maybe a slight obsession with the door and snacks), Parker`s your guy! Just be prepared for the occasional spin-induced dizziness and the `I must go outside!` symphony. He`s worth it, trust me. Plus, you`ll be giving this handsome fella and his buddy Shadow a second chance at a happily ever after!

COURTESY LISTINGThis dog is a courtesy listing (not in the AARF program) but we will be reviewing applications and helping the owner find the right home for OLIVE. Please visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-app/ to apply. Meet Olive, your loyal and loving protector! Olive is a stunning Great Pyrenees mix around 4 yrs old and weighing in around 80lbs. Olive comes with a heart full of loyalty and a personality that’s equal parts guardian and couch companion.  Olive is protective of her people but is gentle and affectionate once you're in her circle. She is house and crate trained, which she will happily go in for a treat! Olive knows the sit command and adores walks, hikes and car rides.  She is always up for an adventure! Olive can be a silly girl.  She likes to lay on her back and scoot herself across the floor with her back legs.  Olive would do great in a home with Great Pyrenees experience.  A home who understands their protective, guardian nature.  She would do great as an only pet or with other dogs after proper introductions.  Olive would adore a securely fenced yard where she can keep an eye on her surroundings.  She needs a home without small children.  A patient home who realizes she needs time to warm up to new people.  Olive had a tough start, but she’s now healthy, happy, and ready to find her forever family. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and protective companion, she’s ready to be your best friend for life!   Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. March 11, 2025, 3:45 pm

They need a home environment to learn manners & how to interact with people & other animals.
