Story
Sentry is a 6 year old stoic and gentle farm dog that lives in Chattanooga, TN. She lives outside and is trained to stay within the boundary of a mobile electric fence. She serves as a guardian of Boy George the pygmy goat (must be adopted with Sentry) and companion to Floki a Maremma sheep dog (who could also be adopted, not required). Around new people, Sentry is timid and shy. But after a few treat exchanges, and a little time to establish trust, she becomes very loyal and affectionate to her caretakers. She needs a patient and calm handler. We are looking to re-house due to staffing and program changes in the public space where Sentry resides. No compensation is requested, but we do require an on-site visit of her current home and approval or her future space prior to adoption. The sweet girl and silly goat are in need of a FOREVER home. Additional information and vet records can be provided upon request.

Story
Ghost is a great pyrenees that was dumped in our neighborhood. We nursed him back to health, got him neutered, etc. and he's a very sweet boy. At the last vet visit, he weighed in right around 80Lbs. Due to a recent severe illness in the family, we need to rehome him. All the good things being said, Mr. Ghost is a pyrenees - they need room to run, and high fences, or he will get interested in something and "dissa-pyr" and run off. This is normal behavior for a pyrenees, as they are protectors who look after their land and try to expand their territory outward. He's great with other animals, no problems with our other dogs or our cats. He's a very vocal boy, and will bark at things of interest. Definitely not an apartment dog, this guy needs room to run. The more land, the better. We hope to find him somewhere with plenty of space and an owner willing to give him lots of love and all the pets and brushings he desires.

Story
Klaus is an amazing dog that would be perfect for any type of family except one with cats. I would not even be reining Klaus at all if it wasn’t for the fact that my child needs to receive in home health care and it requires no large breed animals. He is 100% house trained and professionally trained in obedience and knows all basic commands plus a few advanced ones. Klaus is the best traits of a Great Pyrenees as a lazy guardian dog until the time comes that he feels the need to jump to protective mode and he has the best traits of the pit with his laziness and need for cuddles at all times. The only con to Klaus is he does not like his nails cut and we have been slowly working on that. I rescued him from McKamey and he is almost 6 years old. We also have a 5 year old physically handicapped dachshund who he is very gentle and loving with, I also have a 13 yr old autistic child that Klaus loves and cuddles with and obeys. it breaks my heart to even have to do this.

Story
Kylie is the definition of a gentle soul. She's an easy walker, making every stroll a calm and peaceful experience, and is loved by all the volunteers and staff. While she tolerates other dogs, Kylie might just prefer to be the star of the show as the only dog in the home. She seems to prefer peace and quiet, so she may do best in a home without small children. Kylie is a sensitive girl who may experience some separation anxiety, so she's looking for a family that can offer her the comfort and security she craves. With the right love and care, Kylie will be a loyal and devoted companion, ready to share her calm and sweet nature with a forever family.
