Story
Curious Civic is our most handsome freckled face, 80 lbs. Great Pyrenees mix boy that is just so laid-back guy that is just so wonderful to consider for an adoption.  He has a beautiful blue eye and that could be from so many different breed mixtures that influence his good looks.   This boy is under a year of age and at times can be dog selective if there is an alpha that tries to dominate him.  He is just won’t take being pushed around.  Most Great Pyrs will not.  It is their breed and nature of the breed. He walks great on a leash, enjoys car rides and has a nice disposition that is loving and mild mannered.  He would be a wonderful couch companion for watching anything YOU want on TV.  He is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative and micro chipped If you are interested in this boy please contact us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   He is ready to go! PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.August 19, 2024, 1:19 pm

Story
Bowman, Bowman, Bowman!  What a handsome boy you and what a little rascal you are at the same time.  Loving, cuddly, shy, and yet outgoing when he feels secure, this handsome puppy is looking for a home to grow tall and strong within.  He is a 6 month old Great Pyr/Lab mix that is 55 pounds and growing each and every day toward his goal of 75-80 pounds.  He has the cutest freckles sprinkled across his ears and face and he has a nice soft white coat of fur.  Bowman can be the typical pupster that will chew your phone charger cord if YOU the human is careless and leaves it accessible and actually any other cord that looks deliciously close or on the floor is totally in danger for a good investigative chew. He is pretty much housebroken and he is good in a fenced yard where he can just hang out and enjoy the great outdoors.  He will bark for a little while after you leave him crated when leaving the house but must be crated and slowly he’s submitting to that reality.  Another dog in the family would be a delight and wholehearted welcomed by Bowman. He is fine with cats, children are fun to play with (he frolics now with a neighbor 3 year old toddler) and dog parks are nothing short of “Disneyland for Dogs” in his eyes.  He is pretty good on a leash and getting better daily with practice.   We think a work from home or stay at home mom environment would be excellent for him and some children would be a plus, another dog a plus but neither is a necessity.  Just company for Bowman is all that we are seeking.  He is still polishing so much of his compliant personality.  The Great Pyr persona is there deeply engrained in his soul.  He would NOT be an apartment or townhouse candidate unless you can take him outside for hours daily to explore.  Bowman fits in but he does have needs when he lives with you.  Company is the biggest need and above all LOVE!   LOTS OF LOVE AND SNUGGLE TIME.  Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  if you are interested and ask for an adoption application or answers to any questions. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.August 19, 2024, 1:19 pm

Story
Hello world we would like for you to meet the most beautiful easygoing lover girl puppy called Rosaleigh. This girl born June 1st to an American bulldog mix Mama has the combination of the bulldog attitude and laziness of a great Pyrenees. That beautiful face and those big paws and the beautiful white coat just makes you want to sit and hold her all day long. She is squishy, cuddly, loves betting rubs, plays with her siblings in a slow motion move. Her feet are huge her heart is big and her cuteness is gigantic. We expect this girl to be a 75 to 85 lb adult dog. At just eight and a half weeks she is almost 20 lb. She knows commands and is crate trained and is learning to come to her name. Rosaleigh is very curious and wants to play with the cat and follows her everywhere. She also gets along with the foster home Boston Terrier. Her mom was found as a stray back the 1st of May and they had no idea that she was pregnant. Once they learned she was so far along, the foster family welcomed the puppies which were 10 of them. If you want a big huggable, sweet, cuddly, white polar bear girl, you need to sign up for either Rosaleigh or some of the other girl pups in the litter that are up for adoption. Story
Just look at this face. A face that you just want to squeeze and squish and kiss and hug and cuddle.  This little girl, well actually not so little,  is called Celine and she was born June 1st to a Bulldog mix Mama who must've met up with a Great Pyrenees daddy in the background. DNA does show that Great Pyr is strongly present. Just look at those paws!  Right now she weighs 22 lbs and probably on her way to being a beautiful 75 lbs. adult girl. Celine is a sweetheart and a very slow moving deliberately lovable girl. She  lounges around the house a lot and she wants to crawl up in your lap like she's a Chihuahua. As you can see, Celine has dreamy, sleepytime eyes and face and the heart of a cuddler.  She is a relaxed puppy with the curiosity and laid-back demeanor of the Great Pyrenees breed.  This girl will make you slow your pace a bit and just sit and watch the world go by. She just has this tranquilizing effect on you when you're around her. If you are interested in adopting this girl or maybe one of her other sisters, all are pretty identical, please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com. She is ready to go claim her new corner of the world with a fluffy dog bed waiting for her. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Contact ccrtennessee@gmail.com.August 19, 2024, 1:19 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Lucky Charms is a sweet girl. She loves to play with other dogs. She is learning potty training and with a good routine she is doing pretty well. She loves getting attention just like any puppy but settles down just fine too. She would love a home with another dog to play with, but I think she would do fine alone too. Overall, she is ready for her forever home! Born to a feral mother that a Good Samaritan had been tirelessly trying to help. These fluffy little bundles are now ready to find their forever homes, where they can thrive and grow into the gentle giants they’re meant to be. Great Pyrenees are known for their nurturing nature, and these pups are no exception. While they may have had a rough start, they are blossoming into confident, loving companions. A key to their happiness and well-being is a home with a physically fenced yard.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 19, 2024, 7:40 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Cap’n Crunch, aka Crunch, is the floofiest, silliest, most perfect puppy. He loves to be outside just as much as he loves to nap next to his people. He is great with dogs and respectful of cats—he listens when the cats tell him to go away!  Crunch is gonna be a big boy and is still growing into his paws. He will slip across non carpeted surfaces if he runs too fast, but don’t worry, he gets right back up and continues on! He loves to collect toys on his dog bed to play with and snuggle with.  He is making incredible progress potty training, his only accidents inside have been entirely the fault of his foster ignoring his not so subtle cues. Crate training is also going really well, he can be a bit dramatic if he is crated and can see his people, or when he first goes in, but after that he settles down and sleeps for 4-5 hour stretches.  Crunch is a very good boy, but still very much a puppy, he needs a family willing to love him and work with him to be the best family dog he can be. His breed is incredibly smart, so he will take to training very quickly, he just needs a dedicated family to help him reach his full potential. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 19, 2024, 7:40 pm

Grits and determination!! That is the saying, right? To get anywhere you must have grits and determination?? Grits are good for you, ask any Southern mama :) You guessed it, my name is Grits and I have a LOT of determination! I came from the pound with HORRIFIC injuries related to a multiple dog attack :( And boy I was in pain and had horrible infections and was so so skinny and just sad... But the rescue peeps fixed me up! It took several weeks of LOVE, good nutrition, wound care and "heart repair" to return my zest for life and to see the glimmer of hope in my eyes... Now I am all fixed up, healthy and happy and READY for you!! Don't ever let me be out on the streets again, fighting off other dogs to live. Give me your COUCH, an air conditioner and lots of love and treats and I will be yours FUREVER!!! And speaking of fur, well, you know I am a Great Pyrenees and we SHED great amounts, so you must love me more than my hair!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Story
So the rescue people named me Rascal, which is really not an accurate description of me!! I am SERIOUS :) I am not rascally, I am a pup but I am a good pup! I don't want to cause any drama in my new furever home, I PROMISE :) I have lived on the streets and I know that I don't ever want to be there again! I get my food/water/love/hope and plenty of fun in my rescue but I long for the same from a forever family. I don't think it is too much to ask, I mean look at my face my sweet and innocent face. It will show you that I am a wonderful boy whose "rascally" ways are far FAR behind me!! I am great with everyone, so hurry up and adopt me! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Elmer, like the glue, you ask?? WELL MAYBE!!! I am a GREAT Great Pyrenees boy who had a rough looking life before I was saved in the rain, with big wounds on my face and front chest and legs :( Looked to the rescuers like I had been in a fight... So here I am, LIVING THE HIGH LIFE!!!! I am in a foster home with AIR CONDITIONING!!! And my foster momma and her momma love on me and keep me fed and happy :) I, of course, had heartworms when I was found. HOWEVER, those pesky worms are currently dying off and I am feeling better every day without those parasites!!! I am a couch surfer, have you ever tried to surf a couch?? NOT EASY but here I am, killing it!! (not the couch, the surfing life :) I am a big boy, about 95-100# when full grown- but GENTLE GIANT thoroughly describes me. I am easy going and happy and loving. As a late in life neutered male, I like the female dogs better than other males, unless they are submissive. And I am crate/house/everything trained already so you don't have to worry about that! ADOPT ME, I have SO MANY redeeming qualities... WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??? Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
