Sal is a 2 year old Great Pyrenees. He was born on our farm and currently lives with his mom Izzy. His dad Barkley passed away about 6 months ago. He has lived his whole life outdoors caring for our sheep. He and his mom are great livestock guardian dogs. We have not lost a sheep to coyotes since they have been on guard duty. Due to financial and health reasons we have gotten out of the sheep business, so they no longer have any sheep to guard. Sal is great with other dogs, cats and our 8 young grand children who live on our farm. If you would like, you may take both Izzy and Sal.

He is a wonderful, calm, cuddly giant who we think would do well in a home *without kids* and where he is the only pet, and the owner can commit to clear boundary-setting and training for him.
