Story
Fred has been a good dog until the last 2-3 months. He has always been in the fenced yard, but for some reason he keeps getting out and chewing through the fence. We have tried everything to confine him, but it is not working. He needs to go to someone who has a big yard where he can roam around more and be a good guard dog.

Story
Theo is a gentle giant! He can be timid at first but once he gets comfortable, he’s attached to your hip. He loves to cuddle and play often. He definitely thinks he is a lapdog! He plays well with other dogs and has done great around his faster family's toddler. He does well on a leash. He is still working on kennel training but does better each week. He still does best with several potty trips a day outside. He can be clumsy and needs reminders to slow down when going down the stairs. He loves to be the center of attention, loves treats, and loves to be petted.  If you are interested in him, please send an email to scpdogworld@gmail.com to get more information on how to fill out an application and have a great meet and greet to see if you are a match made in heaven.  Adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home. The adoption fee for a dog is $190 (or $245 for puppies) which includes State of Texas sales tax. All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas. Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Clear Lake Petco, 2410 Bay Area Boulevard. All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas. Since all our dogs are in foster homes, an individual dog may not be at our weekly Adoption Event due to conflict with a foster's schedule. If you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please send an email to scpdogworld@gmail.com so that the Dog Coordinator can let you know if the dog will be at the Saturday Adoption Event at Petco. If you just want to meet some great dogs looking for their forever home, please come visit with us on Saturday!    August 18, 2024, 4:15 pm

Story
Sweet “Benny” is now AVAILABLE for ADOPTION! This precious boy had been through so much, was dumped, was hit by a car, had a broken leg, emaciated, these were just a few aliments Benny had. He has been living comfortably in a foster home recovering and is now ready for a home of his own! Benny is extremely gentle and sweet and deserves a chance at a good life. He is about 6 years old and weighs 100 pounds. He walks well on a leash and does good in the car. He would benefit from a quiet home and being someone’s everything or with a senior female companion. He is housebroken, does great with the groomer and enjoys any attention you would want to give. Benny’s is in Pearland, just outside of Houston. He is neutered, micro-chipped and Heartworm Negative. He is a Great Pyrenees and even more GORGEOUS in person.   Our Dog Application (no obligation and a great start): https://www.forgottenpetadvocates.com/dog-adoption-application/ Benny’s Amazon Wish-List: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/2FXGKR3M74WP/ref=nav_wishlist_lists_2  August 6, 2024, 7:10 pm
