Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Leia came to us painfully thin (only 30 lbs) and afraid. Though cautious, she is inquisitive and gentle and warm as a summer breeze. This puppy loves splashing around in a kiddie pool and is happy to carefully take treats from our hands. We are slowly getting her comfortable with leashes. She is content in a crate, acting as if it is her special place. She keeps her room neat and quickly learned how to negotiate the doggie door to outside.Leia appears to be a Labrador/Great Pyrenees mix. She has the typical double dew-claws on her rear legs like most flock guardian breeds have. Her size seems more retriever than Great Pyr.This youngster (7 mos.) is perfect for folks who want to make a real difference for a dog that needs confidence. All she needs is compassionate and love.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.    August 19, 2024, 7:01 am

Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $100 if picked up in TN, $175 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Meet  Dolly , the spirited and lovable Great Pyrenees/Pit Bull Terrier mix who’s ready to bring joy and laughter into your home! At just 6 months old and weighing 35 pounds,  Dolly  is a medium to high-energy pup who adores attention and playtime. One of  Dolly ’s most endearing habits is her talent for gathering multiple stuffed toys and proudly carrying them all at once—talk about impressive multitasking! She’s already learned to sit for treats and will go to the door when she needs a potty break, though her excitement sometimes gets the best of her.  Dolly  is a big fan of stuffed and crinkly toys, walks, and fetch. She dreams of a fenced yard where she can safely chase squirrels and enjoy her playful antics. While  Dolly  can be a bit socially awkward with new dogs and needs slow introductions, she quickly settles in and shows her sweet side. Crate training is going well for  Dolly —she’ll go in for treats and settles down after a brief whine. She walks nicely on a leash and is a calm car rider.  Dolly  would thrive in a loving home with a yard, where she can enjoy cuddle sessions on the couch, fun walks, and lots of playtime. If you’re looking for a loyal and trainable companion,  Dolly  is your girl. Bring this bundle of joy home and watch her fill your days with happiness!    Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. August 17, 2024, 11:52 pm

Story
Blizzard is a sweet girl who was born 11/26/23. Guessing on breeds, looks to be a pyr/ lab/ hound mix best guess. She will likely be a medium / large sized dog and is the smallest in the group. She is currently 40 lbs and growing. She is current on vaccinations, preventions, spayed and chipped. Due to breed characters a physically fenced yard is required. She is potty trained and using a doggy door. Blizzard is located in middle TN, but not to worry her transport is included in the adoption fee with Rescue Riders Transport to one of their delivery locations. We are happy to set up a virtual meet and greet with any approved application. Please contact us for more information or an adoption application.

Story
Roc-Ky My baby boy is a gentle giant very loving extremely kind and warm hearted he really would curl up in your lap if you'd let him. If you're asleep he'll keep you protected and safe. Roc-Ky is pretty spoiled raised like a human child indoors rides in a car since 6-weeks has never gotten sick great with all doogg breeds at times he will forget his size with the smaller ones because he loves to play. Roc-Ky can adapt to change in schedules but it will take him a few days he loves to explore new areas and new things he shakes paw understands any command except of course stay If you've never owned a Great Pyrenees before they can be trained with loving patient repetitive treats but, ultimately they will go on their guts My ❤️ breaks at the idea of this grave loss so I'll need to be sure that Roc-Ky has the best possible chance of a long carrying and loving future Thank you
